Now that I have sold my HTC Universal for $600USD, I wait to buy the HTC Athena. HTC Athena will be marketed in early-mid march. It is known as the T-Mobile Ameo or the Dopod U1000. Price will range from $650USD to $1000USD? If I am correct I think its competitors (well personally I think that Athena is no way comparable to this garbage f***ed ) are going to be Apple iPhone and O2 XDA Flame. You can take iPhone off your list. It is very low on performance wise. Same goes for O2 XDA Flame. Although both Flame and iPhone will be very popular, dont fall for it! They are smaller and sleeker too! iPhone = $500 and Flame probably $700?
Anyways when Athena hits market anywhere in Asia, Europe or the Americas please post links here that all of us can use to make purchases.

Not really i think the price i offer is pretty descent for a pocket pc only. I dont want any addons. Just a plain vanilla. Since with all addons it costs 600 pounds then maybe 400 pounds without addons? or maybe i have to wait longer?
When you say *all the add-ons* I hardly think the gift pack is adding much to it.

As you can see, they are on pre-order only, that's why some member here decide to buy from me, they don't want to wait anymore! beside that i can get it cheaper than $1500, i can get it for $1260 including shipping !

Yea its not out. maybe thats a pre-order or its just another fraud.. but still i like that offer. Maybe something like that will come later on. I like the black athena and i will only go for that. i had a silver universal earlier and didnt like it much.

Why does it have to be ebay? Fraud is just as likely on ebay as it is on a forum. Doing a trade without ebay is much better, no ebay fees, no paypal fees, the price is normally better for the buyer, and less hassle for the seller.

it all depends up to u. it depends what mobile phone orange will offer you as a trade in. if it is a good choice like te htc desire or sony ericsson xperia than defo trade in. but, like i mentioned in my previous post, it may be worth putting on offer on the marketplace form. there are many ppl who will be interested i buying a snapdragon phone and even still, some ppl will think £190 is not a bad price.

tbh, i am not sure. you probably will and to phone up orange and ask. if anything, you night probably have. To pay MOREffor the desire and trade in,,, as the device is very probably and a better device than the TG01 in the general opinion of ppl.
just give orange a ring.

i gave orange a call and they said to me that you cant get another phone. but informed them that i dont want the phone becuase this will be my 3rd TG01. so he said 2 me that he will inform the billing team for more details.
are you aware of anyone receiving another fone instead of the TG01

Nah that offer was for a limited number of units and some guys thought smart and bought 20-30 units and are selling them for over 170 pounds each. I'm talking about new ones in their boxes. When I bought mine for 185 the guy had 10 more phones and after a week or so i ordered a second one from the same seller for a friend of mine that saw it and got jealous , and there were 2 last items for sale. Very good price and the right choice ! You bought it the right time too, now that we have finally entered the TG01 Rom cooking era at last after one year of nothingness since it first came out. Now there's plenty of stuff to play with, new roms crop up every day

if you phone orange with your tg01, you will just get another tg01, i have tried for a week to get a new handset and i have had 3 tg01's. orange are not replacing them with the hero/desire/xperia or anything

Thats ridiculously over priced, sorry but no thanks. Im thinking in the low 100s. Most are used and new ones are hard to come up on. I currently have an Epic 4G Touch, but it isnt the same as a HD2.
