N.O.V.A For HD2?

I went to gamelofts website from my phone and PC but apparently the game isnt available for my carrier. Has anyone found a work around to this? I really want to play a couple of games from them

Is it possible to pm me also with a working version of N.O.V.A? I think it's the sickest game for HD2 with android. I've tried to install a couple of versions of NOVA but after installation the game asks to download additional content. When it is completed I run the game again and it repeatedly asks to download this additional content again. Installing in Flight Mode doesn't work either. I think it´s a bug because of the fact I´m running Android from my SD card on my HD2. Please correct me if I´m wrong and there is a working version for this setup. Many thanks in advance!

Gamelofts a bunch if idiots for not putting there stuff in the market, they have made it such a pain to get there products, that unfortunately you have to find other means...
On another note, has anyone tried modifying there prop to see if you will show up as said carrier?

yeah my build is recognized as the htc desire, and it says nothing is supported. You might just have to wait a month or so until the NAND build comes out.

The paid version works, the pirated version doesn't.

i can vouch that the game works on the hd2 ....both pirated ver and paid
i dl the pirated vers and you have to go into the application managment and clear the data each time to play ......so i decided to buy it ...less hassle
only reason i see to use a crack it to test a game or app that i dont want to pay for and not like .....if i like it i buy it
running on desire hd build for android and core cell evo in winmo if that makes a difference

Where are the good games?

Why can't I find a lot of games on the market? Is it a carrier thing? I have a non-sense rom, and would love to play NOVA. But I have no clue how to obtain it. Theres a few other FPS's I would like to try as well as Madden. How can I go about getting them?

I second the Words with Friends(just don't cheat with your GF. consequences are painful ) I need to try out Gun Bros. thanks for the tip!

If you like MMO's, Pocket Legends is where it's at. Great game, very well done and extremely addictive.

I find it weird that Nova doesn't show up in an AOSP rom, (just checked) but I know it works as I have backed it up and then restored it to an AOSP rom. Maybe buy them in a sense rom and backup and reload?

angry birds

Sinister planet is a smooth space shooter (60fps), it kinda hard though.

I put together a YouTube video with some of my favorite games, most of them are 3d games. Nova was one of the games. Search though my old posts a few months back to find a link. Or pm me and ill get ya a link if ya want. You should be able to download a trial to all gameloft games, but you have to go to their site from tour phone. They are not available through the mArket. Everyone of their games is worth the $5 that they ask.

Gameloft makes a lot of fantastic games. They usually have the best graphics as well. Don't know if they work on AOSP or not though. I know that they're not market games and you usually pay for the APK file from their website. I believe (could be wrong though) that they make NOVA as well. Anyway, they make an awesome golf game (Let's Golf 2) as well as a really fun Spiderman game that I highly recommend.

Cestos - you control little balls, knock other players balls into holes. free online and addictive
Pocket Empires - Kinda like starcraft but time based. Really addictive and free. Online.
Alchemy - Super addictive. Start with 4 elements and make a bunch of stuff. Also free
Andors Trail - Free kinda like Earthbound.
Age of Conquest - like risk
Robo defense - Defense Strategy

My experience with gameloft games is that they get VERY boring very soon.
The graphics only do so much for you.
I did like Let's Golf... that was fun.

A bunch of wants and wishes but nothing but a petition and a youtube video showing some progress on the dreamcast emulator not saturn...
Hopefully in about three or four years from now when we're be talking about smartphones being overclocked to 5Ghz or something like that, some developer would decide to make one UNTIL then just enjoy what you have...

Well even if someone does a Saturn emulator forget about it being decently fast on the Xperia. The Saturn is a nightmare of multi processors so making it run smooth will require a VERY efficient code (fpse dev maybe could do it) and a fast CPU so plan to OC your phone a lot.

Talk to him yourself, but don't expect him to drop his work with fpse to start developing a saturn emulator.
Also, start doing things yourself, f.e. using search before posting dumb things.

Yeah plus with N64 the way it is, we would need a quad core cpu to run a saturn emulator "coded" by him.

Definitely not happening any time soon. There's only one decent Saturn emulator for PC, SSF, and it's closed source I believe. There's no good source code for someone to even begin playing with in the Android environment.
Whoever said they wanted to play SOTN, just play the PS1 version. Why hold out for a Saturn emulator? I own the Saturn version, the extra areas don't really add much to the game.
However, I will say that I would shoot my own mother if I could get Dragon Force on my phone.....

Gameloft - Game Compatibility (Atrix)

Just some quick information I noticed, not sure if it will help at all...I saw on another thread that people were able to modify Dungeon Hunter 2 from I think the HTC Sensation version and managed to get it to run. I started downloading Dungeon Hunter (the first one which wasn't supported by the HTC Sensation per Gameloft's site) last night on numerous versions due to the Gameloft free for 2 hours because of Labor Day Weekend.
I managed to get the Motorola Droid 2 (A955) version to work without any issues or modifications, but nothing I would "pay" for of course because it wasn't guaranteed. Since it was a free giveaway from Gameloft I didn't mind trying it various versions.
The download additional content screen resolution is a bit off. The game and videos look to run fine that I've noticed, but I have only played for a few minutes. The interface for options/keyboard entries via the game are off as well, but I was still able to "use" it. Gameplay seemed fine to me though. Not sure if anyone wants to try that with any other "free" giveaways etc. Just thought it was some useful information for those gamers who REALLY want to try playing an unsupported Gameloft game. No clue if it works on other games/versions.

Forgot to mention I am on AT&T Atrix running Alien Rom Build #3 (been too lazy to update to #4)

I bought Gangstar:Miami vendiction HD from gameloft, and I specify that I use Atrix, so I guess that the version I got was fitted to qHD. I works great BTW (accept the dumb bug of the screen not responding after prolong press )...

BUT Battlefield is much better much more realistic, and much more challenging. COD is for fast pace kills and mass online gaming between several chaotic small maps.
Its fun but after awhile you strain your eyes on Battlefield lol

I have to admit, Battlefield is the favorite shooter I've ever played, and that's coming from a Counterstrike junkie, back in the beta 4 days.
It's just too addicting, so I do not have it installed =)

Yeah Modern Combat is the closet to a good FPS on Android Except GTA
