Can having calluses on your fingers make the touchscreen work poorly?

TBH I don't see why it would. Since it's heat sensitive it'll be just fine. Invisible Shield is quite think, but yet touch screen is just as responsive.
So I guess it's up to you and your experience.

Yes it would.

Heat has nothing to do with it.

Heat sensitive = capacitive.

I believe it works due to the electricity that our body produces, which in turn is heat.

Calluses are a thicker layer of skin which makes a larger distance between body heat and the phone so it could...

From Wikipedia: "Unlike a resistive touchscreen, one cannot use a capacitive touchscreen through most types of electrically insulating material, such as gloves." So the question is, would a callus on your finger have the same effect as a piece of cloth in prohibiting the effect of your finger on the screen's electrostatic field. Is a thick build-up of skin an electrically insulating material? It certainly seems possible.

I play guitar about 2 hours a day minimum and I never had this issue. When you play guitar and your hand/fingers hurt it means that your hand is in the wrong position, it shouldn't hurt at all.

[Need advise] tiny lint under glass

I just received my second mytouch 4g. But with my uber luck, it has a tiny little lint under glass straight out of the box.
Does it mean that other lints can get Tere? If so, will HTC repair it under warranty?
This time I got a good screen, a good chip, and a camera in the middle of its space. I do not want to gamble again and willing to keep it.
The lint is barely noticeable, would you suggest me try exchange again?

Take it apart and clean it. Great things involve great risk... Just do it

Im afraid after that there would be dozens of lints more.
I probably will call htc and mail it for waranty repair. Do they have there a clean room for that?

My phone took a massive hit and now it keeps turning off :-(

This one had never been dropped. Tonight I was pulling it out of my pocket when some douchebag bumped me and it flew across the bar. Amazed the screen didn't crack but it broke my heart.
Time for yet another exchange...

Does anyone know if a last.kmsg will reveal anything interesting? I know it's a hardware problem but maybe it could tell me where?

Bet the battery is missing contact with the points... Try a folded piece of paper between the battery and the cover.
Edited cause I suck at Swype!

Stupid question

The speakers holes+rain...easier to get water damage?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I wouldn't think so as my DHD had holes on the speaker and I have never had the problem. However the holes were a lot smaller but I still highly doubt it.
Well lets hope so eh lol

Gorilla glass 3 sucks big time

I scratched my screen with key(with very little pressure applied) although it's a very thin scratch but I am disappointed with the Gorilla glass 3 they say it is stronger than previous versions gorillas I do not concur. .so my advice to ppl who are using their galaxies without a screen protector should get one ASAP!

Why did you scratch your screen with a key? Your wording made it sound deliberate.
Gorilla glass or not, I had a screen protector on this thing within 5 minutes of taking it out the box and I did exactly the same with my S2. All glass will scratch if you try hard enough or if you're unfortunate enough to have a few grains of sand in your pocket.

I took those Gorilla Glass 3 test reviews for their word for it (-;

Yea it did with scratches here and there

Metal does not scratch glass (especially a typical key). It was probably something you had on your key, like a bit of sand or dust. That will scratch any kind of glass no matter what you do to it.
