Apparently it's not all that hard to get "unsupported" devices working
EDIT: looks like I need to learn to search.

Heyy basically I have a great idea for an app but I have no experience with Java or developing at all. I was wondering if anyone would actually make me an app. I dunno how payment would work. But we'll figure something out. Just PM me if you're interested.
Thanks

Can we get a little bit more details..
Makes working easier

Well, it's called Tekker (probably) and it gets RSS feeds from all popular technology sites like engadget, gizmodo and techcrunch. I just thought that for some people it would be easier to just tick a box to get feeds rather than have to manually configure it.

So you basic want an app that has the rss channels pre config for just tech based pages?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yeah basically, but it would be good for it to have a search function to find specific feed items, a nice ui, a page where you can config which of the tech feeds you want to display and the option to add custom feeds. Android users are geeks so it makes sense.

I might help get this started, but no promises. I'm currently trying to get into my business school, so I'm very busy

Stupid app won't let you upload large videos. What do I have unlimited for? The n1 and i8910 had no such limitations. On top of which the YouTube website upload app also doesn't work on the phone !

Actually it let's you upload them but not unless you are on WiFi.

The samsung website lists the tv out function as a feature but yet even with the froyo leak I don't see it anywhere.
Anyone else get this to work by chance?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
Does it list it for the Fascinate specifically?

It says video output to tv, but now that I think of it they may be referring to the dlna connection.
The international galaxy s phones have video showing a video out connection working.

Is everyone getting a lot of force closes with the XDA app? Do we know if its a honeycomb thing or something specific to the Iconia and also does it make a difference whether using the free version or premium version?
Mine is working well (xda premium)
For me the free xda app wouldn't work, so I decided to buy the tapatalk app, and it works perfectly.

Yup.
I wanted to persevere with the XDA app in support of those who put the work in to it; however I simply can't get it to function. I login and then, bam, force close.
It looks like I'll have no choice but to go the Tapatalk alternative.
It doesn't work on the Xoom either unless you stay logged out. Never had one FC while logged out. Since I mostly just read and can grab my Evo if I HAVE to post so it isn't much of an issue.

Me too. Getting FC before and after rooting iconia. Every time I want to select a thread, it FC so I decided to use the browser instead.
have lot of FC too... send report when requested
I usually get alot of force closes as well when using xda app on my Droid x, but for some reason I have not had it happen on my tab. but it is a common issue that I have had since the app was released.

I had a lot of force close issues with the free XDA app. I installed the premium version and so far no problems
