I just found out that Acer released Honeycomb 3.1 for their Iconia A500 -> Link
Since the Acer tablet is also Tegra 2 based can we get anything useful from this rom?
I believe vegacomb uses the Asus EEE Pad as base.

Hi i've got 1 samsung galaxy tab 10.1 with android 3.1 and 1 asus eee pad transformer tf101 16gb with android 3.1 too.
On my galaxy tab i can choose catalan language but no on my transformer. Why?
Catalan was added on android 3.0 release

I looking in to buying Acer Iconia tab A501, and I was wondering does it have built in GPS/A-GPS support, because I was searching web and on two sites it does says about GPS but on ten other sites it doesn't says anything about GPS.
and second question is your personal opinion about Acer Iconia Tab A501?

I would like to know too. I found NO websites that say whether or not it has a GPS built in. I am trying to buy a tablet and this one will be it if it has GPS.
A501 has GPS build in.
It does have GPS but search the forums here and you will see many are having problems with the gps on the A500. I love mine don't get me wrong, but the GPS issue frustrates me. Lucky my Samsung Galaxy phone has GPS too and that's good enough for me... for now.

from crypted and the GPS is working now... although the signal strength is not as strong as that on my phone... may be due to the metal case from what I have been reading.
GPS is great on my stock A501, much better than the GPS on my SGS with the many roms/modems and GPS fixes that I have tried.

GPS works Great on my Stock A501, have only tried with Navigon Mobile Navigator v3.60 this works great, Little fast then my Galaxy Tab p1000

1) Turn off capslock.
2) This is an A500 forum, not a W500 forum. While I'm sure that there are people here with the talent to make it run better, chances are that they don't have a W500; chances are even lower that they do and care to help. I suggest you find a site dedicated to W500s or to x86 android in general and try to get help there.
