Customize your Google+ url

I was scrolling thru a few things on my twitter account and ran into a posting by @SamsungCarla. SO FOR EVERYONE ALREADY ON GOOGLE+, it will allow you to customize your Google+ url as the subject header says.

YOU GET ONE SHOT AT CHANGING IT AS OF NOW! You mess up, spell it wrong, use someone elses profile number, don't like it after u change it, its on you! It will not let you change it again. So don't get ballsy with me. I'll turtle slap the hell outta you then make you use an iPhone.

SN: If you are still seeking an invite leave your gmail address in a post. No PM please. As did mine, it might take a while to get the email, mine took almost 8 hrs after it was sent, but it will come. Google servers are pretty jammed right now. Don't delete the email if you at first fail to get in. Be patient and just keep trying.

And as of now when you open ur plus acount your id is the 15digit number in the url...this let's you replace it for what you want

There are no limits to invites. One person could conceivably invite the entire population of this forum.

I was gonna ask that because I haven't had a limit when I have invited friends and family.

I have plenty of invites as well. I have been adding XDAers as I see them in their signatures. You guys all know there is not one big XDA circle, right? It's not like a group on facebook. Unless there's something someone hasn't told me about ....

Yeah the more bogged down their servers get the more they will periodically shut down the ability to invite. Personally, I'm ready to shut down Facebook.

I have thought about closing my FB, but some of my friends and family don't want to jump ship. So I'll be using G+ for XDA, which lets me interact a little better with the rest of the community. I personally prefer G+ more than FB ...

Not sure if anyone here is a member or not, but I have 6 invites. I figured since Ive received a ton of help here at XDA Id return the favor and hand out invites for some that are interested.
Only stipulation is that I ask you return the favor and invite more XDA members.

I posted my email on the game site yesterday morning and heard it can take a few days to a week or more... Then last night I struck oil they were giving them away on an IRC channel where hey were asking trivia questions about the game. I ended up getting 3 of them! I plan on finding someone who has helped me out on the forum to give one to.

P.S. They are wanting people to make pictures about the game with game logos and stuff about Niantic and the game.....post them on Google plus and stuff...wstch for game hangouts.
