Just plugged into Zune and was offered the 7392 update.
I was on 7390 with bad bootloader 4.10.1.9. I had used the resistor trick to apply the samsung patch for reboot loop in case of problems with the update.
Good news is it updated no problem to 7392
Bad news is it still has 4.10.1.9 bootloader - However by pressing volume up, camera and power on i can get into download mode. YAY!
Finally!!!!
Just downloading it now. Its about time really. Cheers for letting us know

Before the 7392 update, 4.10.1.9 bootloader could not enter download mode. I had to use a resistor jig to get mine into download mode.
Now i can enter it fine with the button press combo.

I still can't enter download via the buttons
Did you check both combinations???
Most get into the download mode by pressing VolDown + Camere + PowerOn
mine gets into download mode by pressing VolUp + Camere + PowerOn
Before Usb-Jig
VolUp + Camera + PowerOn = USB-2-PC mode
VolDown + Camera + PowerOn = Reset mode
After USB-Jig
VolUp + Camera + PowerOn = Download mode
VolDown + Camera + PowerOn = Reset mode
I can't go into USB-2-PC mode right now, but I can't find any need of that right now, when I have the much desired Download mode.
Also, bare in mind that you press 3 buttons simultaneously, when the ''Samsung Omnia 7'' screen comes up, you release PowerOn button (keep pressing the other 2), and when you enter the desired mode, release the other 2 buttons.

Your only option is to fix that button. Clearly a hardware issue.
but sometimes it works..the issue came in existence after i put my frien's sd card on my phone
so i had a little doubt that its a hardware issue
anyway
thank you for your help
i will contact my customer care center for that
Hello, for some reason my phone got stuck in the bootloader exception. I know I could potentially fix this through odin but I have quite the problem. I use a chromebook! Also Odin is a windows app so I was wondering if there are any other options for me to try to fix my phone?
trying to get into recovery mode/download mode fails as well. Only thing I could do is turn it off briefly (volume down + menu + power) then it goes back into bootloader.
Cant send it in back cause I bought it from a different country. (will visit that country soon but I need to get this phone working for travel/communication purposes)
Are you sure you can't get into Download mode?
I had this problem and it was hard to fix, but after holding -Vol, Home, and Power, after about 8 reboots it worked and I fixed it with odin.
Hold, keep holding these buttons until Download Mode appears.

Power/home/volume up is the combination for recovery, not download. Try again with volume down.

edit: do i have to plug in my phone first with odin? or it should go to download mode without odin yet?
Mobile phone shutdown, you can enter the Fastboot , eRecovery, Recovery & Upgrade these modes:
Need to connect the computer:
Fastboot mode: long press the volume down key + power button.
eRecovery mode: long press the volume up key + power button.
Do not need to connect the computer:
Recovery mode: long press the volume up key + power button.
Upgrade mode: long press the volume up key + volume down key + power button.
When the phone is in these modes, long press the power button can restart the phone to exit the mode.
Did I help you? A ''thanks :good:'' would be highly appreciated

As soon as the Huawei logo appears release the power key and continue to hold the volume up key until recovery loads. That seems to work for me. Make sure you press the 2 keys at the same time to start.
Do you have stock recovery? or TWRP? and is you phone rooted?
IF you have a rooted phone you can install 'Flashify' or 'TWRP Manager' or 'ROM Toolbox' to boot direct to recovery while phone is on.

With the volume up, it says:
"Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted....."
Your device is booting now...
And then nothing.
Can't boot. Can only access fastboot.
Reflash your recovery in fastboot.

Here’s how to enter Safe Mode on a Galaxy S10 smartphone:
Shut down your Galaxy S10 smartphone
Hold the Power button key and release it when the SAMSUNG logo appears on the display
Right afterward, press and hold the Volume Down button
Hold the Volume Down button until the device boots up, and the Safe Mode text appears in the bottom left corner
