I can't seem to find the answer to this one anywhere, but I'm sure I'm probably just searching for it incorrectly.
How do I un-associate an application?
The issue I'm having is with the weather & toggle widget donate and wanted to try some new clock skins, so I selected the "Market" as my choice for looking for new skins out of the weather app settings screen, but now every time I select the weather/clock widget from my app drawer it opens the Market instead of the settings for the weather & clock app.
Any suggestions/answers?
Thanks

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Menu-Filter-All>Find the app that you have as the default action NOT the one that you use to get the option (In this case you would choose Market)>Clear Defaults. That should do it.
Hmmmm....it's grayed out JAguirre1231. Any other ideas?
hey guys
Im running cyanognemod for DHD and ive accidently replaced the drawer button in the middle of the dock with another shortcut... how do i recreate the link to the app drawer??
Longpress homescreen - custom shortcut then tap "pick your activity" and choose "launcher actions", select "open/close App drawer". After that drag & drop the launcher icon on the appr. place.
Cheers
Cheers. I was going nuts bouncing through all the menus.
Huh - same here - apparently widget delete has been moved to the top. I, by default, tried to delete a widget by tossing it over the drawer button. Then 10 minutes wondering around before I hit search
Thanks Ce!
disable the new behaviour
Isn't there any way to prevent the center icon from being replaced? This new behaviour is quite anonying.
yeah paramthegreat... I wish there was a way to do that
Can't you lock the home screen?
Someone swyped my idea.
Hi all,
I have strange problem at Lockscreen, when i press the back button at Lockscreen a grey squre appear and the only option is to slide to unlock the screen.
Please see Attached file
I've look at the Lockscreen settings but there is no option that is talking about apps (already disable it).
Hope that someone is having the same problem.
Thanks,
Roy.
I'm not sure what you mean. But if you want to add a widget scroll the top half until you see a plus sign, tap it and choose a widget.
If it's short cuts, that's done through the menu somewhere like in your pics

It is not really a problem. I don't really understand you too but if you want apps on the lockscreen you have just to go in settings and when you are in the lockscreen there are in. When you swipe widgets pages the apps disappear and you have to swipe to the top for seeing it.

thr s always two way to access lock-screen setting;
setting > display > lock-screen
security > lock-screen (or screen lock)
on lock-screen option u press on it (instead of disable/enable toggle) then u will go to complete setting of lock-screen
:good:
Maybe I didn't explain myself I want to disable the widgets so I will not get the grey squre.

You can add shortcuts to the notification drawer using xposed & gravitybox, it works for quick settings.

Hi,
I have recently installed iLauncher which has removed the Google search bar widget from the top of the home screen. I am also aware that other launchers like nova can do this.
However, I am still unable to figure out how to remove the same google search bar that appears when I enter the app switcher (recent apps). This app switcher being what appears when you press the right hand side square button at the bottom of the screen on the home screen, where you can close the apps you have running.
I have no clue how to remove the search bar from here and it is very annoying, as it is on the switcher but not on my home screen and I do not want it on either.
I have included screenshots of my home screen and the switcher so you see what I mean.
Thanks.

It depends on the custom ROM you're running, most custom ROM's have their own settings menu to configure options that are usually not found in AOSP. You have to search there and see if there's a menu for recent apps and the option to show or hide search on recent apps should be there.
Xposed and GravityBox is always an option

I am not running a custom ROM though, just stock marshmallow with a different launcher installed.
Is there really no way to remove the search bar from recent apps?
You can do either of the above or request the launcher dev to include it. That's 3 options, just for you.
Nova Launcher allows this to be removed
