Hey guys,
What's the best way to usb tether. Running backhole 1.4 with stable 11/11

Have you tried Wireless Tether for Root Users?
If you want to tether with USB instead of wireless, try PDA Net - they have a free version that works pretty good except it won't let you on secure sites. Otherwise as the OP said, Wireless Tether for root users is good or Barnacle Legacy is also good.

Are you trying connect as an exchange account? Or pop3/imap?

Im stuck in obtaining ip address when im connecting to wifi.
This dosen't have to do anything with your rom. I also had a similar problem in my grandma's house (i was on repencis). It was stuck in 'obtaining ip address'. Best thing you can try is change the password of your wi-fi connection.

I have got a bsnl router at home which i use for my desktop .it has an open wifi network(no security),but when i try to connect,it stays stuck on "obtaining ip address" and never connects .I tried the solution where they change to static ip and then uncheck that option, and internet connects for them, but it didn't work for me either. :banghead:
