its not all widgets. its just a few, the scrollable widgets to be exact, like email, agenda, bookmarks, etc. you hold down on it like you are moving it and release after it vibrates, you will see diamonds that you drag to the desired size.
OK. Dang...I'm wanting a full screen picture frame, and I can't find one.

How can i have more then 5 screens for Applications ?
I'm gunna guess you mean home screens, and assume you haven't done a search. Press menu, then edit and you can add screens.

No, i don't mean home screens, i know how to make more home screens.
I am talking about Applications Screens.
Thanks anyway.
You just install some more apps. The application screens extend as necessary.

Oh, i see ! Thank you !!!
You can also hit Menu when you are in the application drawer, and an Edit option will be available.
From there you can drag/drop/uninstall apps. Every time you go to the Edit mode, there will always be an extra blank screen where you can move your apps, so moving apps there would increase the number of screens. You can drag apps to the next/previous screen by moving them to the edges until they turn bluish.
That way you can have additional screens without having to feel each screen up.
There's a catch: if you leave any blank spaces on the application screens then sometimes icons from other screens will jump across to fill the gaps. I'm not sure exactly when that happens but I think it might be when you switch between portrait and landscape.
I spent some time sorting all the games onto one page and they then partly unsorted themselves again as the gaps filled up.

I just flashed MIUI to my X tonight, I already have it on my Nook, but I am not a fan of having all my programs on my home screens or having to put folders on my home screens either. That being said, I do like the theme options and I want to use some of the icons that the launcher uses, namely the dock background, the phone icon, contacts, etc....So, anyone know where I can find them?

They are all system apk's that you will have extract to get to those images. I would think the same goes for the dock background (should be under some sort of launcher.apk). I'm not on MIUI but I would imagine that's where they are at.
I tried the system apks, but the themed icons are not there.

I find that very few apps/widgets that I have offer a 5x1 or more size.
I can only name HD Widgets as one. Which ones d'you have installed on your Note?
Can anyone recommend a good weather/forecast widget with tablet size available?
I find that using ADW Launcher Ex's widget/icon resizing helps but sometimes makes poor resolution or such more noticeable. Unfortunate. Also, resizing doesn't offer more information to be included. So native support is still the most useful!

Android Pro Widgets and Jorte both have nice 5x5 widgets.
No luck yet for weather, though...
Give "3D Flip Clock and World Weather" a try. I've been using it since I got my note.
I use beautiful widgets and the weather widget on there is pretty nice.

I'm digging 'Snowstorm Weather' although it's only 4x1 - I am using Go Launcher so just resize it to 5x1 and it still looks great.
I am using " beautiful widgets ", works very well with Note. See my screen shot.

I'm using beautiful widgets as well, it has a 5x2 superclock widget.
@skyhew, what skin are you using and which widget gives you the controls on the screen?
Edit nevermind Skyhew. I think you are using HD widgets and I found the settings for those

This weather app supports tablets so it should do for you
I am not a fan of the way ICS handles widgets. Having to scroll through the available widgets when you have a lot of apps is not convenient. Any marketplace apps or general tips for making widgets more useful? Thanks!

Ok, so how the heck do you add widgets to the Home Screen?
When I long press all I get is the wallpaper option.
Sorry, but thanks
Go to the app drawer.

From ICS onwards (no one cares about Honeycomb) widgets were moved to the applications tray/drawer. At the top you can switch between apps and widgets.
