Ok so what do i do with my 2 evos 4g now?

I have 2 evos. Both are rooted with S-off. Mine has a red and black ballistic hc case and my girlfriend has a pink fishbone case. Both phones look brandnew. Even though they are rooted we never flashed any roms. Do i sell em now? Wait til after we get our 3ds then sell em? We both reserved our new evos at bestbuy and are number 3 and 4 on there list. Whats a good asking price

You have to wait till you get the new phone in order to get the 3d with the discount and keep your number. You could possibly move the number to other phones if you were to sell the evo's first, but it's a bit of a head ache for very little gain.

put them on craigslist or ebay. i can guarantee you would get an easy $200+ a piece.

thanks everyone....i threw em on craigslist but so far a bunch of low ballers lol. My girlfriend had the idea of throwing them on ebay june 20th then when they sell buy our new evos from bestbuy with the paypal card. (I new there was a reason i kept her around lol)

Taken with my crappy blackberry curve replacement phone. Got a new digitizer coming in the mail though. I wasn't going to risk the GB update being applied to a new phone sent to me via insurance claim, plus the digitizer was $30 vs $100~ for a stupid claim.
Hopefully by the time my screen gets here, the kernel source will be out, OC'ed, and Kingdom will get the OC'ed kernel and absolutely rape.

Sprint is $100 through Insurian. But if you bug them about it. They will give you a new one, vs a refurb. Also, depends on what agent you get.

I have never been so lucky, ever. In fact I'm pretty pissed about Sprints service. I wish they had the Evo Shift on USCC and I'd switch in a heartbeat. Plus, with USCC launching their 4G network in my area, I'm definitely switching when its done, Evo Shiftlikemodel or not.

Pretty harsh damage. I've dropped mine a couple times and never done anything close. How did you manage to cause the screen to shatter like that?

Had a samsung moment, after getting out my truck I forgot it was on my lap. It didn't drop far but shattered in a similiar manner, sprint store replaced the screen and it worked perfect. Free of charge

i don't have insurance on my phone. about 2 months after i got it, the volume-down rocker broke and stopped responding. took it to sprint, they charged me $30, and and 2 business days later, i got a brand new one..
i guess my case was a bit different, as it would have probably qualified as a manufacturing defect as opposed to accidental.

This is the first phone I've ever had that took a lot of damage. So far, all are in working order still. Otherwise, I still have my trusty HEROC to fall back too...

HOLY . It might have tried committing suicide because it heard you think of putting CM7 on it. You know the whole " Death before Dishoner " thing.

mine looked exactly the same after my sister dropped it on the pavement outside the bar. Good thing I have TEP, and she gave me the hundred bucks to replace it!

This makes me count my blessings and now I do NOT believe the shifts have G.G, and I think jesusice said it best when he said"that's one small ass gorilla"

And thus the reason all along in that thread I was saying I'm certain at least some Shift's do not have gorilla glass.

This happened to mine too...
$60 replaced the entire top half, keyboard, and battery cover.
$150 to replace entire phone to a non rooted evo.
I went the $60 route and did it myself. Amazingly easy, and my phone looks brand new, and its still rooted.

I never bothered getting the insurance bec. I usually upgrade my phone every year and my phones usually survives the year. This time, I wasn't careful enough. Oh well, I will probable get the screen fix and or just wait it out until my upgrade comes up (4mos.)

I was losing like 6-7% per hour when the phone was doing nothing but sitting there (and yes I did the checking, making sure no apps were causing it, etc..)

Does anyone know when costco will get the VZW LG G2?

I bought an HTC One about a week and a half ago and debating on returning it. I have until Friday, exactly two weeks from the day I bought it, to decide whether or not to return it. The G2 it looking more and more like the direction that I want to be going. I bought my One from costco so technically I can exchange up to 90 days after if they get it but I would hate to bank on them getting it in that window and end up with something I'm not 100% sure about. Just curious if anyone knows when costco will be getting the G2 for verizon? May help me make my decision.

Idk about when Costco will get it but u returned my HTC one for the g2 and its a great phone. The only thing I miss is the 2 speakers on the front. I can still hear this one though just not as loud.

Agree everything else is better but boomsound. Some people like aluminum but then they cover or up with a rubber case just to protect it anyway.

I do know that they have the at&t G2, so it is possible they will get the verizon G2, but no one knows when or if costco will get the phone because LG's are not typically big sellers. Verizon has a lot of exclusive motorola phones, which costco loves to sell over other phones so there's no way to be sure. I talked to a costco mobile rep and he said that if they are getting a phone they get a presentation for that phone and it is released two weeks later. You can keep checking back in or calling, personally I didn't want to play the waiting game and my phone was limping, so I just went ahead and upgraded.

Well I decided to play it safe and just return my HTC One today. I went to the verizon store and spent a fair amount of time playing with the G2. I think that is going to be my next device. Waiting for Verizon to update my account with the contract reversal so that I can upgrade to the G2. From what I understand that is a coupon code that you can use to order it online through Verizon and save 60 bucks. Think I may go that route. We'll see.

looks like its on sale... are they trying to get rid of it?!
