can help me unlock it? AT & T is, I was sent to USA, but here I do not get the unlock code. It can be otherwise? as? thanks

I'm not looking to unlock the bootloader, I just want root. I haven't seen any method that doesn't require unlock first.
Any idea how to do this?

Don't think you can. AFAIK that's the point of the lock, to prevent any changes. My nexus s won't allow anything without unlocking BL.

Network Unlock u8800-51

Hi,
Is there anyway to remove the network unlock of my ATT Impulse (U8800-51)? I try to flash it with different roms and it always ends up asking me for a network unlock code. I bought one on Ebay but it does not work. Thanks

How does an upgrade of firmware just SIM unlock a phone?
Can anyone else confirm this?

It changes the carrier configurations and somehow unlocks it. Try it

Huawei releases general versions, not specific ones for carriers like Samsung does. So when you flash it it doesn't include your carrier lock information. Just flashing B512(is an international version) over another BXX will unlock the phone.

Returning to stock using HTC RUU?

I have a VZW HTC 10 that is unlocked S-Off using Sunshine. Does anyone know if I can use the HTC RUU 1.96.617.2 from htc.com/us/support/htc-10/news/ or will this make my phone unusable on VZW create a brick or make it so I'm unable to unlock it again using Sunshine?

I figured out what I needed to do with some help from JCase, Beaups and your archives Thank you for your work by the way. It did what I was intending to pass SafetyNet unfortunately can't find a way to re root without triggering detection again Not sure what it's looking at but it doesn't see the root after using root switch just fails the CTS Profile.
