[Q] Unlocked 16GB from Frys in Renton?

I was able to get a 16GB from Fry's in Renton on Friday but it is apparently locked (no unlock symbol at boot). I'm tempted to return this in hopes of getting an unlocked one but it seems to be luck of the draw...has anybody gotten an unlocked 16GB from Fry's in Renton?

Got mine from bestbuy in bellevue and its unlocked.

If you get one without the unlocked icon, you can't root or what?

I was wondering bout this too, i bought a 32gb from Renton on friday, and it has the Unlocked symbol. I'm still reading up on these things, so i have no idea what it means.

If your bootscreen has a padlock your bootloaders unlocked. Doesn't make much difference now but it will when kernels start coming out. Got a 32gbtodayfrom Best Buy unlocked; my buddy got a 16 that was locked. He was bummed!

Just ordered my s3 white 32gb

Hi just wanted to let you guys know that the 32gb s3 in white is available now in white I ordered today it's exclusive tovodafone only at the moment and being delivered Monday I have had confirmation of this. I was told the blue ones have paint peeling off and have been sent back plus I have a 32gb htc one x in white I wanted it to match.Please post here if anyone else has managed to get hold of the 32gb model anywhere else thanks.

UK Stock and Price

I picked one up today from the Stratford store in London UK - Price was (inc VAT) - £399.00
They only had the wifi version in white - couldn't resist so purchased although ideally wanted the 3g one with more storage.

Thanks! Was wondering what their price would be. I might just wait till Sept 1 for the deep grey. Seems nowhere in the UK has it in stock until Sept 1..
Samsung website says Argos is a seller, but they have no idea.

Carphone warehouse is selling it and has the 16gb white vetsion in stock. Expansys and clove are selling 16Gb and 32gb white and grey but are showing No stock until 1st Sept.

Oops. Well have to wait then...

I asked at a carphone warehouse today to be told that've they should have stock in 2-3 days. I'm after a grey 3g one which I have preordered on amazon, but if I can get it sooner I wouldn't mind.
I doubt that the guy knew what he was talking about though

Just wondering was that amazon.com or .co.uk? I can't find it on the UK site - has anyone else found any UK online/highstreet stores with the note 10.1 in stock or for preorder? I'm after the grey 32gb.

Grey is not up yet.
Amazon is really stupid. You have to search through electronics and samsung.
Only the grey 16gb version is available and the white 16gb. Funnily the grey version now shows as unknowing date for delivery and stock. Only the white shows as in stock on the 1st of september.

Also bought mine at John Lewis. Ordered it Saturday and delivered to My chosen store the next day for free pretty decent

I ordered mine from Expansys, it's a euro import but it arrived quickly and I am happy

32gb Note 10.1 shipped from best buy BEWARE! W \Video

I had this shipped from bestbuy.com last week, It was tablet #3 of 4 i ordered. All four had all thier seals broken and this was the worst one i had opened. I opened the shipping box to find the note box totally open with the tablet just floating around inside. This is totally unacceptable, just putting this out there so you all can see how best buy is running things to.

I had my 32gb delivered to their store. My seals were intact and tablet is in excellent condition.

I bought three in the store. One for my girlfriend and 2 for me because my first one didn't respond to my stylus and all three were sealed and perfect aside from the one issue

I ordered 4 because I figured at least 1 would be good. So I kept the best out of the 4 and returned the other 3. I video taped the unboxing just in case they tried to say I opened the box's and broke the seals.

Wth..... 4?! You must have had a streak of bad luck in the past im guessing.. sucks man. Yeah i wish we carried the 32 in store. Corporate decisions *sigh

I think originally the GN 10.1 used perforated security tape that was easy to break and that's what happened when they get thrown/kicked around by the shipping company. My 2nd GN 10.1 didn't have perforation on the security tape and came sealed on both ends whereas the 1st with perforation tore on one side.

Just recieved mine 32g today from Bestbuy. The sealed are indeed perforated right on the seems and unfortunately the seals are both broken. But all the stickers on the tablet was intact and no finger prints so its currently charging before I play.

This seems to happen a lot with these 32 gb units. I think that early on.there was a problem with 16gb units being shipped in 32gb boxes. They may have just been confirming.

Even if there's a perfectly understandable reason for it, I don't think the public should ever have to settle for a box with broken seals. I bought my 16gb in person at a best buy store. They brought one of each color to the front desk, and all the seals were broken. They were reasonable and brought me a tablet with seals still in tact. I later exchanged this one because it crashed during an OTA update. At the customer service desk, they had trouble finding another one in a sealed box.

My colleague reserved the note 2014 edition on Friday at John Lewis Oxford Street in London:
Notification via telephone call when stock arrives, reservations held for 7 days after stock arrival and
best of all no deposit required.
Cashier gave an estimated arrival date of October 14th.
They even managed to grab an inventory screenshot. (Attached)
Strangely, the colour is not specified in the inventory listing.
Exact John Lewis Product code: 86010167 (would advise using the product code to avoid delays & confusion)
Above product code is not currently returning any results on the John Lewis Website.
Not sure if the product is on the system across all John Lewis store or only at Oxford Street.

Great find! I'm slightly more optimistic now, I was worried we'd be getting it in November like Canada. I have quite a few friends who work in John Lewis so I'll do some interrogating I think! No word on a 32GB model?

That would be with 20% VAT, so excluding VAT is ~£399.

I just received the following email from John Lewis Customer Service Representative:
Thank you for your enquiry regarding the 32GB Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 with Wi-Fi in black.
We currently do not know when we are likely to receive stock of the above item; however, the product code you provided is for the 16GB model. Although we do not have a date for stock we should receive a consignment of stock in the near future. If you have not already done so your local John Lewis store may be able to advise when stock is likely to arrive.

Hey Guys!! I happened to be in Westfield (Stratford) today and decided to pop in to the Samsung store to find out when the new Note 10.1 2014 would be in stock.
And it apparently had been in stock from earlier on this week!! They only have the White 16GB wifi version available at the moment, no information/availability regarding any other model/colours, no accessories and it cost £479.00 inc VAT.
I wanted the Black version but mannn I could not wait! Ended up purchased the White one haha, the screen is really awesome took me literally 2 minutes to crack and impulse buy !!

I can move apps to the SD card on my galaxy S4 so the tablet should do the same.

I found an ebay seller selling the 32gb from the US - however he ran out but assured me hw would have some more on wednesday.
Its just irritating that we can get it outside the UK but not in the country.
o you have to pay any vat if ordered from europe?

The 16Gb version is also available on the German Amazon website and seems to be shipping to the UK
