Hi as everyone knows nokia n8 has synaptics digitizer and it has Software Emulated Dualtouch ... is someone know some dev ( or at least some person) that have n8? If nokia can have dualtouch i want it too! But i dont know how to do it ;p

Just that we don'T here that any longer:
It's kernel and not kerenal/kernal Devs don't like to read this.
Right now there are 2 versions of fake pinch zoom. The main diference is that the one stop the pinch zoom when you remove the second finger.So it makes you think it is realdual touch... if you test it on an multytouch tester you will see the one's finger position is not exactily right...

Unless the bootloader is gone and the synapsis chip is flashed But it is unsure if it will actually work

yeah...it's iritating that people say it doesn't when it actually really does....We need that bootloader cracked, and as i can see, the devs are really putting hard work into it

I know we are all eager to have dual touch thats why i've done lots of digging
This website https://github.com/cyanogen/htc-kernel-msm7227-exp/commit/62382c4b7c097bc21f698aeec8f15fb91312f4ed shows a kernel driver for an htc device with msm7227 cpu and a synaptics t1021a digitizer from cm sources
I dont know much about programming but i went through it and it seems to be a dual touch driver
If some1 with expertise could look into it and see if its actually usefull cuz i didnt wanna bother any of the dev's

ok,, sory about that,, i have edited my post,
as we all know a lot of phones that use the same Synaptics phone with x8 and it has multitouch functions that do not exist at x8 .., so it's clear that this problem is the driver to run mt on each phone., so the conclusion we must have the same drivers that phones like the n8 and nexus have .., and for that we must hope there is someone who has high skill progammer on this board who are willing to examine this and can enable its to x8..

i have synapsis, but the touchpad is abit screwed up on my phone and multitouch only works when there is a left finger on the bottom left and the other finger must be on the top right or else it wont work at all! PLEASE HELP!

You don't have cypress apparently. NOTE: X8Gesture by doixanh is ONLY for fake dual touch and game mode on it only supports accurate dual touch when both fingers are not moving so it is useless for pinch zoom. That might explain your problem. -.-"
