Help... Lost the text under my homescreen icons - Nexus S General

Not too sure where this needs to be (sorry of it's in the wrong place)
I am running CM7 with netarchy kernel
Here is my problem... After trying the theme changing option and well changing theme, I decided I didn't like it and changed it back to the original.
Since the change all of the icons across my home screen have lost their description... Example the facebook icon no longer says face book.
It might not seem like a massive issue (it's not like I'm bricked) but it is really annoying.
Any ideas, help, mind tricks or solutions would be greatly received.
I have tried going back through all the cm7 and adw settings but with no results.
Many thanks

Menu -> ADW Settings -> UI Settings -> Screen Preferences -> Advanced -> Hide icon labels (uncheck)
[if using the CM7 ADW; menu -> settings -> ADW -> .... ]

THANK YOU.
It was so simple. Yet over looked.
It had been annoying me all day.
(I feel like such a noob *hangs head in shame*)
Thank you

Modifying Default App Shortcuts in launcher

I'm really curious to know how I can change the default 4 app shortcuts in the launcher.
The ones I'm talking about is the Phone, Messaging, Contacts, etc
I have my phone rooted, the works.
For the life of me I've played with the phone all weekend and looked online and can't seem to find a damn thing.
Thanks for any help you good folks can provide, and I look forward to some fantastic ROMS from the community!
Push applications button > menu > select customizable grid
Push menu > edit
You can drag icons from the app drawer to the bottom, but you can only change 2 of the 4.
best way IMO is to use a different launcher
launcher pro and ADWL Launcher are both excellent and worth a try.

you mean the icons in this menu, not at the status bar? if so, they re not in framework, they re in /system/app/ apks. search in settings.apk or how it's called.
I have a thread over here(my signature) with themes, in one of them I changed that, you could take a look.
Ok thanks, ill have a look when I come home, I'm trying to change both settings menu and the menu popup icons..

you'll find everything in htc-resources.apk and rosie.apk
and like nikosrs4 said, especially for the settings icons -- Settings.apk
ok thanks for all the help ive successfully changed all the icons, however 2 icons I cant find: in the drop up menu - Prefrences and notifications. where can i find them ?
Still can't find last two menu icons:-(
Preferences and notifications, they should be in framework.Apk ?

Stock Froyo Launcher

Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> All -> TwLauncher -> Clear defaults -> Press the home button -> Select Launcher (not TwLauncher)
I just discovered this tonight on my own so if this has been posted before or is well known please delete the thread.
I'm on EB13.

Lol nice
I tried Spark launcher too, it's pretty good
No problem. Try them all. There isn't per-say a "best one" it's really finding the one that best suites your needs and style. The most popular is easily Launcher Pro and it's well worth getting the paid version as the widgets (pay only) are top notch stuff. ADWLauncher is also a very popular choice if not equally as popular as Launcher Pro.

no lock screen

I have been using widget locker lockscreen replacement for a long time now. I just upgraded to the stable release of cyanogenmod 7 and wanted to test drive out the new lockscreen options. but when i disabled my alternative lockscreen the cm one wont activate. ive even uninstalled the replacement, but i still get nothing. I cant find anywhere in the settings that would turn on the lockscreen. any help?

So.... it might be here... it used to be: Settings > CM Settings > Tablet tweaks > Disable (or enable) lockscreen.

[Q] How to get rid of blue outlines on Paranoidandroid?

Hello,
I just flahsed Paranoidandroid 2.23 for Nexus 7, and I'd like to get rid of blue outlines that show when you scroll through pages.
On one thread, it said to go to launcher > General > Disable Tablet mode; but on my setting, only option that shows under General is 'auto-roate screen'.
Does anyone know how to set it up so it doesn't show those blue lines anymore?
Thank you in advance
Its the launcher included in the rom, it doesnt have an option to remove them. You'll have to get a different launcher
It's the same with Codename Android. Not sure why they didn't code it out of the launcher.. it's a little annoying but I love CNA so I live with it. Oddly enough, I don't recall it happening with stock JB.
