In recovery press trackpad to select an option and press power button to go back to previous screen or to get rid of that so called head image.

Just making s-off or installing custom recovery will not root ur device. U have been already given the link on how to root after s-off (in the 2nd post). Root is having su binary in system folders.
Check whether u r rooted or not by installing busybox or rom manager.

update busybox version.. then try again..
Did you update it to the Oct 22 version?
It seems to have been fixed..
Superuser updates have been a little iffy recently. Just be a little patient and use your phone for the basics for a few days. I'm sure you can manage
just use superoneclick to re-root your phone but DO NOT update superuser binary. updating it disables root access. i don't know why but i have the same problem.
i am using stock xxjpu with hillbeast 073 test kernel.
Me too

mee to facing the same problem.. Downgrading didn't helped either..
Downgrade should work.
Otherwise you are doing something wrong.
Here is a way to downgrade :
To all those who wanna downgrade SU binary cause of some problems just go to - http://www.goo-inside.me/superuser/
All those files in the list which have "bin-efgh" in their name are binaries....
I used the 3.0 binary - http://www.goo-inside.me/superuser/su-3.0.1-bin-efgh-signed.zip
Download the one you want and flash via ClockWorkMod Recovery.
Hi! I can unlock my bootloader. And i have semc certification in setool!

Just wait for it to complete + wrong section...
Flash the stock rom -then root -then unlock i had that problem yesterday
have you unpacked everything from the archive? create new folder and copy everything from the zip/rar (i don't know if it was in zip or rar) which you downloaded
Wrong section..... Post it in Q & A section ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1218
You have to double check first the manufacturing date of ur unit b4 attempting to unlock ur bootloafer. Or go Ahead to Q & A Section and read some post ther.

Of course he hasn't. It's so much easier to open a new thread than to write "htc panache root xda" in Google and read the 2 top hits (and first pages will be enough). Or is it?
OP, find and read a thread named "Videotron/Mobilicity Panache thread".
Search in Google as "Install CM for Glacier". This is an easy solution for Perm-Root your HTC Panache.

Is 2.1.0.13 can be rooted? Im on 2.1.0.11 and not yet updated. Any info please.
I'm on 2.1.0.11 and custom recovery. The new update just won't install. Keeps failing in recovery with file not found. Tried from sdcard1 as well but still fails. Is it because of custom recovery?
