like many of you, my xperia play get bricked, I fixed it but lost radio ...
soft unlock like fastgsm are OFF ... Is there any possibilities like turbo sim for my phone ?

The fix did not fix the radio
You can't unlock it with turbo sim because the simlock in TA is tampered.
OK, so except software unlock, nothing can work ... bad ... hope it will work soon ...

my unlocked xda 2 blew up had it repaired by o2 (new curciut board),got it back but unable to put any other sim in than o2,even the fone has been unlocked from before going to o2,so checked it with xda2 unlock says it seems to be unlocked already,

Go to an Service Center which has SEToolBox 3 or credits for x10unlock.com Or you buy credits there.

LOL I thought the solution will be a simple program, or something like HSPL, or a custom bootloader I've a fully h*cked HD2, with gingerbread, so I thought that if I can change entire operating systems then unlocking will be very easy
So if I flash a custom ROM then it will not unlock the phone?
@X10Unlock they give only 10 credits with 1 account... and I have 1 phone...

Hi I want to sim unlock my hd2, and then install Nandroid operating system onto it. Will this effect the sim unlock? , was talking to a man in a shop and he said it might. Its one I have for sale and someone wants this doing to it, Its locked to T mobile uk at the moment.

Short answer is NO.
If you want to sim unlock your device you need to contact your provider.
Go to a store where they can unlock it for you or buy a code on the internet.

No, i can guarantee you it wont. I got mine unlocked and had no problem switching SIM cards in WP7, Android or WM 6.5 . Cheers.

I'm not 100% guaranteed, but i think that even runing android you can unlock your phone
I'd assume that you would be able to once Android recognizes your IMEI so yeah it should work.

Let's say this once, for the benefit of anyone else who reads this thread:
SIM UNLOCKING YOUR HD2 IS UNAFFECTED BY ROM CHANGES.
Once you SIM unlock the device, regardless of operating system currently installed, it will stay SIM unlocked even through ROM changes, including WP7/Android/WM6.5/etc/etc.
Ok, so I've been trying to examine what I've done but i don't know. The problem is, I unlocked my phone to all networks for free, how, I don't know, I only rooted it and installed/restored 3-4 ROM's. I didn't mess with digging on system files etc. I tryed to do this on the same friend's X8 and it didn't work. So, have I burned something or what? Very interesting, huh..
P.S. I buyed it new and it wasn't unlocked.
Are your phone and your friend's phone the same model? If not, that's the answer. Not all phones can be unlocked by flashing a new ROM. For example, my dad's phone worked for that effect. (A ZTE Blade) But my phone (A Sony Ericsson Xperia X8) doesn't work for that effect.

Well according to other user,the SIM lock is included in the bootloader or the kernel I don't know exactly so something must have happend to them.
Also are you 100% sure that your phone was locked to a single carrier?
i dont think that its possible to unlock a phone through installing custom roms, unless the phone that the custom rom was developed on was unlocked? :S

SIM-lock info is stored in TA. It's hashed.
Baseband/radio reads this info. Radio handles SIM-card. It's hashed too (amss.sin/fota.sin).
Nothing can be done from within Android system to bypass this.
Yes, my friend's phone & mine are exactly the same. We even buyed it in the same store. One guy told me that unlocking with ROM is imposible and that's truth but in the other way he said that I burned radio controller or something like that.

You are not the only one that unlocked x8 on that way.
I bought xperia x8 in tele2 and it was locked. I tryed other operators sim card but it didnt work.
But after flashing rom (instaling custom rom) I got my phone unlocked. Dont know how I do it but I do it ( I didnt know that I can do that, I just wanted to install custom rom)

I just bought form tele2 and I tryed to insert bonbon (tmobile) sim card but it wasnt accepted, but after rooting (or rooting and flashing) I tryed to insert bonbon sim and it worked, so I know that I unlocked x8 but dont know how

Trust me,i"ve tried at home.It not possible.Only solution is that i described .I have another phone,galaxy ace and with a program from market, i've unlocked(Orange Romania).Lg phone are not that easy to unlock!

It's coded in a partition which includes imei. When I lost my imei during a bad kdz flash my phone unlocked itself. So the only possibility for the time being is to unlock at your local shop or order a code.

Hi! I just bought a new phone for my wife and I'm confused how to get this phone network unlocked because she got it through a contract.
I installed Slimkat ROM and it's working very very fast for this a bit slow phone, but I can't get it to work on my network (different one than my wife's).
I would like someone to help me network unlock it - FREE if possible. I don't like paying to unlock a phone because I unlocked all my phones by myself & help from this XDA!
