Lock on changing SIM

Hi, I am looking for some help with my Nexus S.
I recently rebooted and changed to a new SIM, and upon booting I am presented with a screen saying "Enter password to unlock", My gmail password wont work and I don't know what password it means.
So i then put my old SIM back, and it still happens! now I cant get into my phone at all, and cant use it!
I even tried a reset, and when I select recovery in the bootloader, it doesn't work.
I do have Prey installed (http://preyproject.com/), and I did forget to switch it off before changing SIMs, but I entered my prey password and that didn't work either.
Please help!
Thanks in advance,
Tris
Ok i have solved this.
It was Prey that had locked my phone, and I had got the password wrong!
At least it shows it will make it really difficult for anyone who steals my phone!!

[Q]Forgot Desktop Backup Password

So I've been trying to back up my phone's data before rooting...I've tried several method which are all doing the same thing. What happens is when I get prompted to enter the password, I enter it, press Back Up My Data, and the window dissappears and goes back to the app that was open before. I don't get any error message to tell me my password is wrong, but I have a feeling that's the problem. Is there any way of changing the password or fixing the issue I talked about above?
Thanks.

Phone is locked. !!!!

My friend input the wrong password too many times and now it's block. It ask me to enter my flyme's password but nothing happens after I enter my password.

To start Android, enter your password

For some reason, this screen showed up asking for my password. The phone booted automatically because I set the clock, but it didn't ring and this screen showed up, causing me to be late for work. Any idea what it is? I don't even have a password set on this device.
did you install twrp?
No, I'm still waiting for an official bootloader unlock

[Q] Forgot Security Pattern and Need Help!

Hi everyone,
I don't know if this is a Tab A question, a Samsung question, an Android question, or a Marshmallow question.
I have an older tablet (SM-P350 with stylus) that I haven't been using a lot and I have forgotten the unlock pattern I was using. I am able to log in using the backup PIN, which I do remember, but I have to make several failed attempts to draw the pattern before I am prompted to enter the PIN. I'd like to start using the tablet more, but I don't want to have to do this every time.
I went to the security settings to change my login, but under "Screen lock type," it prompts me for my pattern, and after a failed attempt, it tells me I have to wait 45 minutes to try again! I am not given the option of entering the PIN. So I can't change the pattern OR change the screen lock type without knowing the old pattern! Does anyone know how I can use the backup PIN to do this?
As a last resort, I decided to do a factory reset. When I tried to do so from the menu, it prompted me for the security pattern!
I've tried twice to use the power and volume down buttons to reset, but I don't seem to be able to get to the recovery menu.
Now I can't log in to shut down and try again, because it's telling me I have to wait an hour!
And finally, one additional complicating factory is this: the tablet has been rooted -- not by me, but by the previous owner.
What can I do?
