Sprint's signal is better at my house than Verizon. Verizon only has the edge when I'm on the road...which isn't often (considering my job is 2 miles away). Not sure about LTE speeds, but Sprint's 3G is pretty much maxed where I live.
Sad though, who on earth would pay $80 a month for 10 GB?
damn! i use ~5+ GB a month... I'd have to pay an arm and a leg

make that 2 arms and a leg for me i use around 20gigs a month with all my tethering lol.
oh and its an aditional 20$ a month if you use the hotspot starting july 7th
SPRINT FOR THE WIN!

thats right you are! keep being impressed. last year i did a very extensive testing of all 4 major networks. i did the tests just like this in three different markets. elizabethtown kentucky=rural indianapolis=metro louisville kentucky=mid way
and in the 30 days i tested the carriers sprint destroyed the other. i never lost 1 call with sprint, i lost 6 with att. 4 with tmo. and 1 with verizon. data speeds, sprint beat them all with verizon in second. and data while traveling (75 mph on I 65) i had data 100% with sprint, i hit a dead spot with verizon and att and tmo i didnt have it 30% of the time.
but anyways i ended up choosing sprint again. no one comes close to them IMHO.
thats my rant. i cant wait to get some developing on with the evo when i get it.
In your case it worked well, but I live in San Diego in a quite popular area and sprint service is mediocre at my house and my wife's workplace. In fact, at her workplace it is terrible. At&t was much better

is the refurb with a contract? cause if it's without contract, that would be reasonable.
if that's the case, it will be better to just buy the phone from me since i'm selling one right now.
Don't buy these phones. These are refurbished phones, that were Jacked-up from XDA members and returned to Tmobile ~~~LOL~~~

Still requires a plan.

That doesn't mean anything by itself, all phones require a plan. But it does require a 2 year contract for the refurb.

Hahahaha
Oh god, guess someone was really sleepy while listing that stuff.
Or was a troll.
Take your pick.
Hey guys,
Was looking on the Telstra website for news about the ATRIX, and guess what? Their pricing structure is even MORE expensive than AT&Ts! Picture:

Each AUD is actually worth USD$1.10 ATM, so if anything, we should be paying LESS.

It never works like that. The dollar here in Canada is higher than US too but Atrix is still more expansive.
Small markets always get screwed. Supply and demand.

And yet according to a lot of Australian industry articles people who grey import to save hundreds of dollars are the bad guys (;
Why should I pay close to twice as much for a device that comes to market 3-5 months late? lol
Don't most people get them on contracts anyway?
I got mine for 0$
Hi guys,
In the summer I'll be in a rural area without cable/dsl internet connection, but I still want to be connected to the internet. The only gsm network with ok coverage is at&t over there.
I'm looking for cheap data. At least 2 gigs. I'm only using it for a month, so a 1-year contract or so is not a good idea.
The cheapest I could find was at h2o wireless: the 60$ month plan for 2GB.
Does anybody else know any good alternatives? In Europe almost every supermarket has it's own provider with low rates..
Thanks so much
Straight talk. Their website offers sim cards for at&t and T-Mobile, and they're 15$. You can use any unlocked GSM phone, and at&t phones need not be unlocked. Once you've purchased a sim card you can port a number or get a new one. The monthly service is 45$, and is available at Walmart as a prepaid card.

So Google has the 8 Gig for $300 and the 16 gb for $350, but prices from T-mobile and other online retailers and ebay seem to be around $400-$450. Am I missing something here?
You're not missing anything, it's cheapest at Google play, other companies gotta make a profit somehow

just buy it from GOOGLE PLAY!
There is a benefit from buying through tmobile instead of doing rma you can use there insurance and it cost five dollars to have it overnight to you instead of having to have a hold placed on a credit card

They want to make some profit by selling more for it than it is in the Play Store. Google doesn't make money when they sell the devices at such a low price for a high end device. That's why it's cheaper to buy on the Play Store.
