I noticed that I'm still getting notification from the app even after having notification turned off. This started happening after installing ec02. Is anyone else having this problem?

When I delete emails from the Gmail app, its not deleting from my Gmail on the computer. And this is after syncing. This seems to have just starting happening in the past few days. Anyone else noticing this?

I had that same problem so I uninstalled the gmail app and reinstalled it. I'm on a CM6 rom though. It's working fine for me now.

CM6..... what? this is the Vibrant forum
I was just explaining that I reinstalled and then it worked. Irregardless of what phone someone has.

ok so this started this past week. I get an email and I read and delete it on my phone. later on, I go back in the gmail app and in the top left corner by "inbox" it says I have a new email, however I don't actually have a new email...when I check the gmail mobile site it shows the same email I read and deleted earlier, as unread and not deleted...
does anyone else experience this/know what I can do to fix it?

uninstall the app and reinstall it from the market.
well I can't uninstall it fully (at least not from the market) but I uninstalled updates and then updated so I'll see how that goes

Make sure your syncing is on. I had this problem, turned on background syncing and it was fixed. Hope that helps.
that was the first thing I checked haha. I have background data and auto sync both enabled though.

Happens to me all the time. I use gmail unread widget to view only unread mail to find the offending message

ADB / Root Explorer and delete Gmail.apk in /system/app/
I know that (sorry not trying to sound like an arrogant ass) so far uninstalling updates has worked though.

Been having issues with the Facebook app where I do not get any notifications. Anyone else have this happen to them? Suggestions?

I have no issues on my 6810 after the last upgrade, perhaps you need to change how often facebook updates? or select which notifications show up?
Or check your web facebook setting. Under authorised app...it work for me last time...

I have it to update every 30 mins, they should have it to update earlier than that. I have it to show all Notifications but I don't get a single one.

Bellow is all the apps that are authorized to work with Facebook but the main Facebook app is not listed no matter what version I install. I had v 1.9.9 and I am now running v 1.9.7. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it and really annoyed that I am not getting any notifications.

yup... facebook notification on android seem to be lacking since forever... they never fixed it... my last time work around... find someone who owns blackberry... borrow it for a while and log in facebook using their bb apps... and suddenly the bloody notification on android is working fine...
I just gave up and use Friendcaster for the notifications. It's not as heavy on the battery as the official app; and I just browse the regular web site.

I have Friendcaster as well but noticed I don't get notifications from some of my friends and their post don't show up. If I want to check it need to log to the Facebook website in order to look at the posts, not very convenient

Please send us an email to [email protected] so that we can try to find the cause of this crash and get back to you as soon as possible.
That's one of the first things I disabled, it's very buggy & runs in the BG all the time.
I've noticed some apps like Facebook and weather bug, if you access their notifications from the lock screen it won't take you to the app like others like the stock messaging app would, you have to unlock the phone THEN it will take you to the app
