A7 - For Sale - UPDATED PRICE

Looking to pick up either a Blackberry Playbook or an Acer Iconia so it is time to part with my Elocity tablet. If anyone is interested in purchasing my
A7, please let me know. Have had it since Christmas and it is currently running with no issues with latest Dexter Mod 1.42. Has earphones, wall charger and softcase (picked up extra). Also has had a screen protector in place since purchase so no scratches or issues with the screen.
Selling for $150 (reduced price) + postage depending on how it ships. USPS Flat rate around $10 or so. If UPS or FedEx is desired, I will need to check the price.

Update: No longer available - thought I would be able to subsidize my purchase of the Acer A500 (which is awesome) but my wife decided to try out angry birds on it and found it a better play than her HTC phone. I'm hard pressed to make the case to sell it given her wanting it since the money is not really an issue so it stays in the family. Thanks for all the interest. Best place to buy transformer

So i want to buy the transformer today, and i was wondering where is the best place to buy? I am in the US, in IL, but because of the quality control issues, I want to be able to take it back if I have to. Also, price is an issue, as it seems to vary. A lot of places have it online, but do any stores carry it yet? As for online companies, they are ok, but it would be nice to at least have a store to return to if i need to..I guess another issue would be getting one of the newer models that might have fixed the power cord issues and some QC issues. I searched for an answer, but I didn't find anything really giving advice on where to buy, now that it is actually in stock in some places...thanks!

lol i hear ya...especially cook county...but amazon only has them for 453 right now? seems like the price keeps moving around...i have prime too so i would do it, but the extra 50 bucks kills it

Amazon charges sales tax here. Newegg does not.

I bought mine from Toys R Us on Wednesday for 399.99, plus they gave me a $25 dollar gift card that I used towards the purchase. I'm loving my Transformer so far! I just wish I could figure out how to Tether it with my Blackberry

Got mine at Newegg for $389 with no tax and free shipping by registering a new accounts and using the "newcustomer10" coupon. Not much of a savings but it was the best deal I could find until the TD one yesterday.
Newegg was also was willing to cross ship when I had to exchange my first Transformer due to some defects.

I bought my 32GB from Amazon. The 16GB was $50 more than the original price. I would recommend Best Buy.

Amazon always sell at retail price. The over-retail must have been a 3rd-party seller.
And yes, Amazon are definitely the best place to buy from now that the shortage is over. Amazing customer service and 30-day hassle-free return.

Psugtooq, are you saying that Newegg sent you a replacement before they received the damaged one back???

I ended up going with newegg...good call on the new customer code...i used it also...amazon had the 16gb 50 over and it was direct through them...i know its not normal but it was so....newegg has been good in the past and I heard alot of crap about td and their shipping...plus it was through ebay too and that can get interesting...great price though

Yep. After I sent back the defective one, I went into live chat and politely asked that Newegg send out a replacement immediately as I didn't want to have to wait 2 weeks for them to process the RMA and issue an exchange. The rep told me to call their customer service 1-800 number and ask for an "advanced replacement." I did so and a replacement was sent out the next day with their standard 3 day shipping (arrived in 2). Their was no additional charge, just the stipulation that my CC will be charged if the original isn't received within 30 days.

Yes, great deal. I have bought one new nook and one refurb and you could not tell the difference. Do NOT go with a no name tablet or you will be crusing trying to do anything. The Nook is a great low priced tablet that is very hackable and easy to use. Plus it is unbrickable and can boot from an SD card

Ditto on buying a refurbished one. I also bought one new and one refurbished and could not tell difference. But check out the refurbished ones being sold on eBay directly by B&N for $119.00 plus sales tax and free shipping. Look at posts here in this thread for a direct link.

I have a refurb also that I got from Overstock. It was shipped from B&N. Paid 139.
It was in perfect condition with no issues. 1 year warranty.
So...at 119....it is a steal.

I'm glad to see that you guys have good luck with your refurbs. I ordered one from B&N on Ebay last night. $119 plus $9.29 OK sales tax. I can't wait for it to get here.

Refurb is even better than new. They rigorously test the refurbs so they are pristine.

Barnes & Noble is presently selling them on eBay for $129 with free shipping... And since you are essentially buying from B&N warranty issue should also be no problem.

I scored one for 119 plus 7 dollars missouri tax on Sunday night. Its gonna be a xmas present for a 4 year old who won't leave his mommies evo3d alone. I look forward to being part of your community.

It's a great idea mate. I bought mine refurbished with a 1 year warrenty and I'm happy as can be. Buying a NC new at this stage would be a waste in my options as long as you get it from a good source with a trustworthy warrenty furbed.
