yeah ,haven't done anything to cause it maybe that the problem
when was the last time have you spent time with it
or even touched it
not every one is heartless like you
we all need love
look just say ur sorry and ull try to fix things
it will understand

Lol! Funny reply, but seriously... I haven't done anything recently that can cause it. I read online that fixing permissions could help, but I don't have a custom recovery that can do this. Can anyone point me to something that might help?

Right, I wiped the cache partition from Recovery and that seems to have solved it. Really weird that it just started happening... I wonder what caused it?

after googling most of the people fixed this random issue with
a factory reset
after that (optional)
GOOGLE CONTACTS are synced and APPs are restored.
some wiped the data and cleared the cache in bootloader but most of the people didnt do that and resolved the issue with just a factory reset
fin

Try a hard reset (or even a soft one first). If it doesn't work, flash it!

See above guys... its fixed. Now I'm curious about what caused it.

Cache and Data Cleaning DONT HELP
There was a report from a member with the exact same issue as you have, however, he said he did root and also delete one of the corresponding file, that was his problem, and soon after he move that file back into the system, QR worked as normal. Your case is kind of strange since you haven't rooted it yet.
My suggestion is factory reset.
Remember, you will lose everything, so backup first.

Done a LG Backup , transfered to my sister N4 and after factory reset made a reset of backup It seems that it worked Thanks you.
Was QuicksetSDK frozen or removed? Quick Remote needs that file to work properly.

Broken camera or... else?

Interesting behavior lately, on my sg5. There are times (more and more often, recently) when neither Google's camera app, nor camera zoom fx show anything on the screen, as if there was no visibility through the actual camera hardware. Rebooting the phone brings back functionality, but only for a while (a few hours), after which the strange no image comes back.
I have also experienced strange "disappearances" of pictures I just took, which show up in a gallery app (the default, or quick pick), but which are nowhere to be found after closing the camera app.
Has anybody seen anything similar? I would really hate to go back to resetting to defaults - had rooted and xposed customized this phone to my liking. And - no - this behavior is not associated with any recent xposed activity / configs...

I have similar on stock, without root.
When I open up default camera application, there is no picture, just blank screen and phone becomes very laggy. Screen looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But it happens just sometimes.
E.g. once per 3 days and soft reboot is the solution.
Don't know the root cause Mine is SM-G900FD with BOC1 firmware.
Tried a factory reset already, but didn't help. Didn't try safe mode yet, as it might be related to some application e.g. facebook, viber, etc. which has access to camera.
Happens to my also since Lollipop on SM-G900F, tried the new stock BOC7 and now is better but it still there, the error and the blank screen. I noticed it happens more often in the evening/night. I've tried everything, wipe cache, reset camera. Hope Samsung will release a fix, no problems whatsoever on KitKat,

Wiped cache partion All services stopped

Hello
It was suggested on another forum to alleviate audio video sync issues across multiple apps you should wipe your system cache. I am running lollipop 5.0.2 rooted.
Anyways I did the system cache clear through recovery and when I rebooted my phone the sprint screen hung for a minute then a black screen appeared followed by numerous prompts stating that various services were stopped.
I keep pressing okay to each prompt and another one follows. It seems like the service / app is trying to start but cannot. I am left with a black screen that continues to pop up these dead services.
Has anyone experienced this? I thought a system cache clear was harmless. What can I do so I do not lose my data.
Please help I need this stupid thing for work.
Thank you

Have you tried doing it again? Was it in stock recovery? What option did you press? Video lag fix is in my OD2 mods thread in Themes & Apps.

[6039x] Install TWRP easily even if you are with your phone to the latest version

(btw im quite noob at this, i just found that as a solution to the problem. btw, sorry for bad english, im 2sleepy and trying to help)
1st: if you break your phone, dont blame it on me. i have done it and it gets tottaly worth it, just sharing knowledge
so have a nice tutorial
So, im Bernardo, from Brazil and 'bout somedays ago ive been trying to install TWRP.
Apparently my ADB-Drivers didnt get totally recognized and it made it impossible.
Oh, almost forgot, you certainly will need a rooted phone. I've used KingRoot, you can find it here. Its an one-touch-apk root. Try it one or two times. It is pretty simple.
Okay, lets go and solve this **** off. Youll need an apk and an image. Just it. Ill use Rashr, but maybe it isnt the better. I dont really know. It just work it out. You can find at Play Store
Fine. Now you have the app to install your custom recovery. But... youll need the custom recovery. Easy too. Youll find the .img right here (big thanks to petrov.0 for the img!)
Okay, now move it to your phone sd\internal storage. Easy too.
Fine, the most difficult steps are in here. Believe me. Open the Rashr and youll find something like that:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Ok, so, click in your first option, it maybe its like: Choose image of Recovery, idk, im using in Portuguese.
Then, you should find a menu just like this one:
Okay. Before you search for your img, make yourslef confortable with this app. I dont know why this hasnt a confirmation of what you're doing. So, take extra care. Lets go on.
Find and click in your .img (that you've downloaded from petrov.0 topic, another thanks m8)
And nooooow..... You should have it flashed. Reboot it on recovery (4th option).
Its just that. And this is how you enter in recovery mode:
Turn off the device
Press and hold Volume UP key + Power Key about 10 seconds
Release all key when you see Android System Recovery
Use touch to control... everything.
If you like it, pls like it and the petrov.0 post too.
So, i hope that it help you guys. Thanks for petrov.0 again and some friends that help me with it. Sorry for bad english again, its my first post though.
Good luck.
Seeya soon.
you can do it without kingroot and without any other voodoo magic, it takes about 2 minutes

Encrypted & Fingerprint sensor error

Hello friends ! I have a problem that has been tormenting me for a couple of days, it turns out that after a week waiting to unlock the bootloader, like any phone I have had, I install recovery, format data, etc. and when I am in the rom it turns out that this encrypted.
I have tried many "DisableForceEncryption.zip", and if I manage to remove the encryption the fingerprint sensor does not come out.
It is very rare and this has never happened to me in any of my terminals, if anyone knows any solution or can help me please I would appreciate it, greetings to all!

There is no solution on this device. Either you are encrypted, or you lose all security.

Thank you very much for your reply bro
So all the lavender roms come encrypted? I don't know if that is going to be a problem when we want to modify our terminal or is it indifferent that it is encrypted or not?
I also don't want to be doing wipe internal continuously since I am changing a lot of roms

As long as you are prepared to format (format - not "wipe") your data partition at a moment's notice, there is no issue with flashing ROMs. But be warned. With lavender, anything can bork the (very flaky) encryption without warning, so that formatting data is frequently needed. If you don't like that idea, then don't change "a lot of roms", and look extremely carefully before flashing anything at all.

by any chance you will not be how to format data without having to do internal wipe?
