Anyone knows what this version is, on asus ftp server ?
There is also the regular 8.4.4.5 , so it is a different version.
Chinese update
There was a thread yesterday about it.

Hello everybody,
I have a g1 that I got in france. The annoying thing is there has been no real news of the cupcake update yet.
I was wondering if it would be an issue if I go ahead and use the OTA US or UK upgrade available here. The french version of G1 does not have gtalk and is a different from the other G1's (US or UK ones).
If I upgrade to either one, will I get those features?
Here are the details of my phone. I would be very very grateful if someone can show me the way.
Firmware Version : 1.1
Baseband Version: 62.41S.20.13U_2.22.16.19
Kernel Version: 2.6.25-deb9915c

to Thread Starter..
although Ideos S7 is a 7 "screen ... very different from your device (IVIO Twilight 7 MD-70) ... so the firmware is also different.
please Find or Asking about your problem on the right forum..
thanx
Hello (new here)
so I rooted my ACER Iconia 500 using the update to downgrade...
Anyway the thing is as I was installing CWM I got an update message
saying like hey newbie we can give you OTA 4.0.10 something
do you want that **** ?
so my question is has that happened to anyone ? What is it ? ICS ? and should I or should I just install the rom I was going to install ?
I don't know what that is...
Help ?
What you are seeing is the Acer build number, not the version of Android. See this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521112 - for more explanation.
Also, I would be pissed if Acer was pushing 4.0.1 since the current version is 4.0.3 IIRC
Hi, everyone. Does enyone can tell me if it's possible to force OTA updater in stock ROM to watch for proper updates? Right now I have installed Honk Kong version of Samsung ROM which has full multilanguage support, but OTA always watch for updates of Chinese version. Probably I have phone which is programmed to have Chinese ROM version - is there a way to change this behaviour?

Can't say about OTA, but you can always go HERE, download the Honk Kong version and install thru recovery.
I just got to the WW version which is converted from the CN one ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3-zoom/how-to/transfer-cn-rom-to-ww-rom-ze553kl-t3612990 ). My Zen 3 is the US version, but I did some dumb things and my phone couldn't start so I had to flash the rom above. But now I got a problem. I can't get any update from Asus anymore. My phone is still on the android 6.0 tho. Is there any way to get the newest update ? At least how can I return to the manufacture's rom ? ( Sorry for my bad English, hopefully you guys can get the point I really need your helps )
