You have to unfreeze the apps you have frozen first.

Try using RSDLite 5.3 and I have been to all of the AT&T versions and back many times and can still flash anyversion I want.

Hi I have been trying to flash SBF for about 2 weeks now. Can someone please point me to the 1.5.7 sbf that they know works. I have tried about 4 different files. And it either goes straight to processing and finishes in about 2mins then gives error, the other file goes fine and takes about 35min to finish but then gives the error cannot flash file. Iam now rooted on 1.83 but cannot enable webtop hack and would like flash a clean build. Thanks.

Think you have to flash. 1.2.6 retail sbg we have here first, than update to 1.5.7. No sure if you can go back from 1.8.3 but I was reading that some people here did it without any issues

I flashed with RSD lite 5.0 the 5.4 is messed up and make sure ur puting the right file in there. There is a rsd lite no how on forums

I got the .57 webtop hack to work on .83 after clearing my /data.
Not sure why this works (I had try to clear everything *dock* *portal* etc in /data already) but it did.

I just came from Gingerblur 4.5 and reflashed my sfb files from 1.2.6, to 1.5.2. Now i'm trying to OTA update it's saying i'm at the current version. Also, I'm trying to update with the motorola software update to the current version, and it's not letting me =/ also now trying to flash with RSD lite, it's saying " Failed flashing process. Unable to retrieve interface handle. (0x727; phone disconnected).

Maybe because the update 1.83 comes after 1.56, not 1.52

Okay, so I guess when I was running the motorola updater it installed a new set of drivers.. I had to restart my computer and it's updating fine. DOH! Thanks guys for your advice

Hi all got myself a note and its running liquid ics rom I'm looking to go back to stock nd want to make sure that I don't brick my device is it just a case of flashing an open Europe rom using Odin nd then it all be back to normal

Yes when in doubt all you need to do is flash the stock rom via Odin of cause if you want to keep root you might want to use mobile odin pro

As long as you are flashing a good image and you don't unplug the cable in the middle of it or loose power to your computer.
So using a stock image from samfirmwares would be fine then

indeed they should come in the form of a .md5 file anyway so it will check that it is not corrupt before flashing. You may find that when you reboot the note you get force closes etc just boot into recovery and wipe cache/data to fix this

I got a new phone and I want to use my huawei for testing roms etc. But I reinstalled GB and it wouldn't boot up only if i'm going to the stock recovery then wipe data. Then i'm in GB and if I reboot I need to wipe data again so I cant install aurora because GB doesn't work and its really annoying

Didn't work
I dont actually understand. What happens when you boot your phone in GB?
It booted like any other phone but if I do a reboot or shutdown then I got a bootloop I can only boot then if I wiped data via stock recovery.
But I tried install CWM that worked
Then I flashed aurora but the only problem is that I cant connect the signal falls down and I keeps saying connecting

Try another custom rom, like MIUI.
Didn't work. It think its because of the GB version I installed. I dont know witch one it was but I'm going to try another GB version and see if that was the problem

Hey this is the pulled Rogers OTA file it should bump up the system version from 139.12.36.ghost_row.RCI.en.CA to 161.44.26.ghost_row.RCI.en.CA!! that is from Android 4.2.2 to Android 4.4.2... Useful For those who haven't got the OTA...

It's the last google version of android. I don't remember exactly what they've changed but it's minor bugs fixed.
Can I just flash this with rsd lite over the current camera patch? Locked boot loader... Or can we sideload on this thing never figured that out

NO!! This is just the OTA that you can flash via the stock recovery ONLY IF you are already on Rogers 139.12.36.ghost_row.RCI.en.CA firmware....

If it is the update as downloaded to the phone(I believe it is) you'll need to sideload it with adb.

Anyone got a link on how to sideload this baby? Did it on my n7 but idk if its different on the rogers moto x I never got the update and moto device manger isn't working so I'm stuck
Edit I am already on rogers
Damn I can't get into recovery to sideload I have the little Andy with a line underneath it saying no cammand and no button combinations work

I don't think there is any chance of that. Wait till you have the PC and sideload it.
Hopefully it doesn't mess up your phone, since it doesn't seem to want to update on its own.

Oh okay I guess I won't risk it lol yeah idk why it won't get the ota since I'm on stock rogers I untooted a few days ago and haven't had any issues but I just cant get the ota... Damn I can't get a PC for like 2 days lol

Of course you can update... Just go to update via SD card in the recovery and browse for your file!!
