I'm not sure if I'm just blindly missing this setting but I cannot find where to change the lockscreen wallpaper. I just flashed CM 7.0.3 and it changed from being the same as my homescreen paper to grass. Not sure if it's a CM setting or an ADW setting or if it's changeable at all. Suggestions?

I don't think you can change the wp. If you really want to change wp though, you can download something like widget locker.

There is no setting to change the wallpaper for the lock screen. The Lockscreen and the HomeScreen will have the same wallpaper. As The poster above me mentioned you can use Widget Locker to use a separate Wall Paper.
Awesome! Thanks for the tips! The grass just doesn't go with my honeybee lol.

With Miui you can have different wallpapers for lockscreen and main screen. Try it out.

No... Its not. Using ADW when I change wallpaper, it doesn't change the actual lock screen wallpaper.
That's strange, my lock screen BG is my wallpaper. on CM6 test 8

Apply your wallpaper of choice and then reboot the phone. Mine does this sometimes when switching wallpapers. It will switch the main wallpaper but the lockscreen will be some green grass. A reboot solves it every time.
Guys,
just saw this from a this diff forum. On CM Settings, check "Lock home in memory". After that your wallpaper will always be changed.
I have a minor problem..idk if its the way the launcher is but whenever I press home and go to my home wallpaper or if the app drawer is open and go home the screen flickers and it goes from a nice brightness to a less brighter ..how can I fix thatt or should I stop whining??

What rom are u using.
I don't think it has anything to do with adw
I am using ADW EX 1.0 and don't have any issues like that... Are you using an 'auto brightness' setting or manual?
Im using cm6.1.1
..I restored to stock cm6.1.1 and still does it

Ok so I went back to normal adw launcher and it doesnt do the screen flicker! So I think its something in ex..

I've had issues with ADW EX, some were minor and others were a pain. Anyway, I honestly don't think it's adw 100% but I do think there may be some small bugs that normally are fine but under the right conditions present themselves. How do you have it installed? In /data or in /system with launcher2 (or regular adw) deleted?

I just downloaded it and set it as default..

Hmm, could be an issue with adw but it seems like it's being caused by another app that isn't playing well with adw ex. It happens and the only way to find out is to uninstall apps one at a time until it stops happening. Or just not use it.
Ahh man I hope I figure it out

Hey there,
I'm facing the same Issue, can you please tell me what to do ?
I use ADW 1.3.6 Standalone ...
I have a sense theme installed through ADW launcher but it does not allow me to set the sense click as a widget, it doesn't let me do that with any theme as the matter of fact... Is that something that adw doesn't let you do? Or can I fix it and have the original sense click with boot screen animation working? I like to use the theme but I want that damn clock too... Any suggestions? I'm running royal glacier 1.2
Much appreciated. Thanx

When you install any aftermarket launcher, you will lose the sense widgets. You can use beautiful widgets as an alternative. If you want the one that looks closes to stock, search for fancy widgets. It looks exaclty w/o the screen animation.
Can I have a live wallpaper on my lock screen and just a normal wallpaper as my home screen?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
No.
Sent from my full Trigger powered SGH-T959 using XDA App
nope cool idea though............
ACTUALLY...
its either the 2.2.1 roms or the 2.3 roms but you can set different wallpapers on lock and home.
I'm sure if your using 2.3(?) you could make a live wallpaper, then lock screen could be a regular one;.
I'm running Double Rainbow and just checked this. It looks like you cannot have a live wallpaper as your lockscreen, though you can set a different standard wallpaper.
Hey guys, greetings from over at the SGS4G section. My wife has a mt4g and wants some more themes... But she won't let me root it or change it in any way...lol.
So.. are there any themes that she can add to the stock rom?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
No, not without root. Your only option is to change the look of the homescreen by using a third-party launcher like LauncherPro or ADW. Those offer a lot of customization and can be used without root. Launcher themes don't change near as much of the phone's appearance as a full system theme does though.
Dxtop, go launch

Thanks guys, just wasn't certain since it came with the sense themes
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
yep, best bet is the hundreds of different themes with 3rd party launchers.. adw/launcher pro. If she wants wants to change the look of her icons i think anycut or bettercut doesnt require root. Desktop visualizer is worth a look ad well.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
Go launcher ex is free and has a bunch of themes. Also they are icon packs u can choose if you put them on your sdcard from the themes section I believe. Desktop visualizer will let you change the icons on screen and go launcher will let you put custom icons on the bottom bar.
