[Q] PRIMEE v1.4 ntfs? - Acer Iconia A500

simple question, is there any way to enable usb ntfs support for the PRIMEE v1.4 rom? i cant seem to find any information about it.

Why don't you try asking the dev, in the PRIMEE thread?

well. i did. i was wondering if there was something else out there. it doesn't look like its supported outright. but i wasn't sure if someone else figured it out. (i also dont want to fill up the dev section with not so important questions. ) just to clarify. its not a priority to me. just asking

Guys make it easier go to the market and look up usb mount all. Or go to prime's thread and look I made a post to the link in the market the app works great install.
Open the app and select what drive you want to mount. Then when you are done select unmount.

I tried it after I posted. It is using the old amend scripting so it won't flash with the new recovery. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will upload the stock keyboard eventually. I would if I knew how.
I asked the dev of the starwars rom and he gave me some instructions.

Does this have the Acer ring app?
Sent from my A500 using Tapatalk
This flies. No problem restoring apps with Titanium, however I can't uninstall some system apps. It says backup successful, but when I go to uninstall it says no backup exists then it says cannot locate sol.
Thoughts?

No, it doesn't. Is there a version out that does have the Acer ring that I somehow missed?

Please elaborate. Are you trying to uninstall system apps that come with the ROM? Or apps that you've restored via titanium?

[Q] How Can I make VPN function work on Barebone CM7 rom (SD)

Hi,
so far as I tested some SD and Native SD roms on my phone, Barebone CM7 was the best in terms of speed, respond time and bing clear. so much thanks to Rick_1995 for the great rom an Learning Never Ends Team for porting the rom.
But my problem is that I can't make VPN connection work. I know that Rick mentioned he removed VPN in this rom but because of my work I neet to use it.
I want to know what files I shoud add to the system beside VpnServices.apk that should be in "app" folder and which rom you suggest I get those files from.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Any other suggestions?
Okay, here is a guide I made a while back. Though it looks like no one was interested, anyway here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176026

Thank you very much. it worked. but unfortunatly its for open vpn accounts. I need to use L2TP account for my work. so I need to use VPN Service. I also used "1VPN" program from market, but it didn't work either.

Why? With every other device the mount USB storage function in recovery refers to the External USB storage. So we are talking about mounting the PC as an external device to the recovery.
This is a very handy function, as I always use it to get files in recovery to the phone without rebooting it.

Yeah.....the whole lot!
I was able to restore a backup too, but I wasn't able to restore one that I made with 6.0.4.6. It had no carrier and some apps crashed. It's normal?
Havent tried that with 6.0.4.6 recovery now, but it worked before I installed PhilZ recovery.
