For those who haven't heard the news yet, D2G is getting its GB update and I'm eagerly waiting what will happen next. The GB update was not yet officially released for the D2 yet, right? Is the D2 and M2 going to follow? I hope so!

Got UD running great on my X last night. Very few bugs, lost swype, bit its fan-freakin-tastic.
Don't do it unless you know what you're doing though, a lot of ppl were having problems.
P.s. I'm on the 2.3.32 leak.

Is the USB mass storage mode still having issues? What about marketplace auto-download issues? I've been a fan of UD since UD8 on the D1, and paid for nightly alpha builds of the X, but the beta that BD released isn't quite there yet, as far as I can tell. I can't wait until he gets that rom squared away though!
USB is getting worked out. Have to say that once gps gets fixed it'll be the best ROM on dx. Lockscreen gestures are amazing

I haved been using RC2 and love it. Supposed to be releasing RC3sometime today. The only issues I been having are the USB issues and GPS, which are said to be worked out in next release. I have been using Ultimate Droid since I rocked my D1 and as soon as I got my dX I headed back over there. Loving it.
Now that the official Froyo release has dropped and we have custom roms like ACS and Bonsai with the new modem. Is that it? I don't image our phones will ever get gingerbread, and if they do it'll be in 2013 when we all have newer better phones and Android 6.0 is out. I guess im wondering if there is anything to look forward to in the development arena for the Epic in the future?
Froyo bug fixes, CM7, official Gingerbread, maybe a GB bug fix update, then EOL, up to the community.

I have afeeling we have atleast 1 more year of good development to come,peaking in about 3-6 months,then declining the other 6. Not that development ever really took off,I would blame the update situation for this.

I believe JRummy16 is working on a GB ROM. I doubt the devs are scared to make GB ROMs. Verizon isn't going to just start cutting people for rooting.
I'm sure in the next few weeks we will start seeing some GB ROMs come out.
Hell we might even see an official OTA soon as well.
I believe fabolous is close to releasing his apex for 2.3. This excites me because I loved apex 1.4.1

I'm really hoping for ICS since I haven't unlocked my bootloader. If ICS will come to the Atrix then I won't unlock. If it won't then I will.

I'm confused what an OTA update (like ice cream sandwhich) would have to do with unlocking your bootloader? By flashing back to a stock build (via an .sbf as long as you have gingerbread already it won't brick you) you can receive OTA updates again. Why not unlock your bootloader and play around anyway?
Or just wait for 2.3.5 ROMs or 2.3.5 fruitcake.

Well... it's just about the start of Q3... so we could be seeing it either pretty soon..... or in another 3 months. haha.
My guess is that we are going to see a leak in 1.5 to 2 months. So hang there dudes! Its almost comming!

I highly doubt it. That's too soon for Motorola, more like 3-4 months.
