(solved) need help

this weekend i try several 1.6 ROM-s,
1. HCDR.ROM v1.7 and Puzzle ROM v6, have few tinny bugs (post in puzzle tread)
2. 5faif ROM v1.5 won't even install stuck on tattoo boot screen for 15 min
3. MoDaCo have some bugs on keyboard
i liked on hdcr.rom that moves all apps to sd card, is there any fully working rom with no bugs, or is there any way to move apps to sd card and others apps like busybox to put on stock rom ?
4.CthulhuROM 1.7 stuck on tattoo screen for 20 min

finally
i menage find one full working it's CthulhuROM 2.0, it is great, no bugs at all

Stick to Puzzle ROM, its the best 1.6 ROM followed by HCDR ROM.

removed all and restore to orginal rooted htc 1.6 rom + black theme + circle mod, thx all, waiting for 2.x full working rom

[Q] What is this?

Hi People, i came with maybe a stupid question but i need to do it.
I currently running Racht's Floyo 0.10 and the rom is so stable and smooth but how everybody know there are some bugs in that rom some of them like 3.5mm Jack and video are useful to me so i decide to go back to a stock SE but there is a thing that is kind of boring in the SE stock Eclair and is the Contact, Dialer and other stuff related interface and with the Floyo 0.10 this part is so nice but i dont know how to call it if is an APK, and module ported to the rom or what.
So i like so much if you can tell me what it is and if i can install or use it in the Stock Eclair ROM
I leave some screenshots of what i'm talking about that i like so much in Floyo 0.10.

I believe that is just the stock Android dialer/contacts/etc. App. It may be possible to find them online and put them on your phone.

You should try this...X10 dialer for X8.

Thanks to you 2 for your answers I already found what is the name of the "app" is wycontacts froyo. But anyway i flash my phone with recent version of Racht's works.

Quarx 2.2.1 don't support screen calibration. It's avaible only on 2.1 ROMs so far.

To calibrate, open your app drawer and you should see something like "Screen Calibration" or "Touch Calibration" and just do regular calibration from there.
(This works on 2.3 roms too.)

Camera works fine. It's in 3.2 MP. I say, better install Floyo 0.20, it's better.

+1 IMO FroyoBread is the stablest and smoothest ROM out there for our X8s

407 GB Rom Questions

Hi All,
I have moved the the Olleh 407 ROM and unlocked the Streak...
A few questions.
I don't like the new version of the widgets for the stock UI - specifically:
The gallery widget will not scroll through pictures.
The message preview on the email widget shows too much per message, can't see many messages - not a big deal, but prefer the old widget.
I can't seem to edit the icons on the home screen widget. There are some that I'd like to see on top all the time...
So - Is there any way to revert to the previous widgets? I was on a 350 stock ROM.
Does anyone know if SetCPU will work on the 407 ROM? I would guess yes, but don't want to mess around with it until I know it works.
I have heard mention of a "Perfmod" from previous ROMs. ANy point in trying this on the 407 ROM? If, so would appreciate a link... but I can dig...

1. Widgets: I don't think so.
2. SetCPU: I believe it does.
3. Perfmod: No perfmods for 407, unless you count switching to a custom ROM as a perfmod.

[ROM] Longhorn 2.2v4 Olleh 407 kernel, undervolted/overclocked and added tweaks to init.rc for stability.

I went back to 360 for now, just couldn't stand the 407 ROM.
