I just got an Atrix a few days ago. I did the webtop hack and paired both my MS bluetooth mouse and Apple bluetooth keyboard. The mouse works fine. The keyboard would only type numbers as if the NUM LOCK was on. There's no obvious NUM LOCK key on the keyboard at all. Spent forever trying to find a solution and finally got one on a Ubuntu forum.
Press FN and F6 twice to get out of NUM LOCK mode! Works like a charm now. Just have to do it every time you get into webtop mode.
Hope this helps those who have these keyboards and want to use them with webtop.
nice one
nice one mate. you just helped me solved a massive problem. now to sort out the apple mouse. for some reason, it would connect but it wouldnt pair. was about to sell the keyboard. life saver

Hi, newb here. I just got an snes emulator for my new toy, and everyting's fine, except for the fact that i cant seem to use the "end" phone button or map its use. The "call" button works during emulations, as do all the other buttons, but the one button thats most convenient, the end button, doesnt seem to work or can be mapped. Is this normal? Or do i have a lemon? If its normal, is there a hack around this? Thanks in advance
i'm surpprised that you can even map the pickup phone button
from what i've been able to understand they were outside of windows mapping scope and had a much more direct connection to the gsm part itself seing that you can lock them like you can the other buttons
guess one can learn everything any day
NES Emulator
I have PocketNester and, yes, I haven't been able to map the end call button. Haven't tried other NES emulators, though.
Thnaks for the response guys. Well, thats somewhat of a relief, at least its an inherent shortcoming of the unit and i didnt get a lemon.
I hope this can be addressed by some hack or program in the future. That, or someone finally develops buetooth gamepads for the xda II, hehe
A bluetooth gamepad ... now, that would really be the mother of AWESOME.

but i doubt that ms would have profile for it in their bluetooth stack :/
Morphgear is the one you want! Plays Mario on SNES like a dream!
can't
use the pad if i rotate the screen
i tried to remap the key but they stay the same wierd
I also placed this in the accessories forum, but it is more related to the actual Galaxy Tab.
Can anybody confirm that they are having the same problem on their Galaxy Tab 7.7? If I use a bluetooth keyboard, it pairs and sets up and works fine, but if I don't press any keys for exactly one second, then press a key, there is a latency of about 0.5 seconds for the key press to register. If I continue pressing keys there is no latency, as long as I press at least something without letting one second elapse. As soon as I have pressed nothing for a second, I must wait a second for the keypress to register. I don't have this problem on my Galaxy Nexus, and I can recreate it with both a bluetooth keyboard and a wiimote connected through bluez ime. However, if I connect the wiimote as a non-hid device through wiimote controller, there is no problem whatsoever. I believe there must be some latency setting to save power, but am not sure. Can anyone advise? Perhaps there is some way that I'm not aware of as an alternative to pairing HID devices without this problem? I play games with an external keyboard, and it really messes me up. Thanks! I should note that I am running the stock rom and my galaxy tab is Hong Kong version (I live in Mongolia).
confirmed
...and it indeed is anoying.
I purchased a Logitech bluetooth keyboard for use with the Note 10.1. Initially I was excited, but that excitement turned to irritation when I realized that my typing experience would be constantly interrupted by the words "English(US)". After some trial and error, I quickly found out that it was cased by pressing the key combination Shift+Spacebar, which activates the Samsung Keyboard's language switcher. Apparently, I hit this combo every time I capitalize an "i" when typing quickly.
After some trial and error, I found a decent solution. I downloaded the 4.2 Google keyboard, and problem solved (Initially I tried a number of other virtual keyboards, but each of them didn't play well with the quick FN options of this keyboard, and I was searching for full functionality). This also removes the full word deletion feature of Sammy's keyboard, which begins deleting entire words when the backspace button is pressed for X-amount of seconds), which I find to be very annoying.
The only problem left happens when reconnecting my bluetooth keyboard, which causes TouchWiz to default back to Samsung Keyboard. Fortunately, the virtual keyboard can be switched back to Google's with just a couple taps.
Anyways, hope this helps.
As you guys all know, the LG G2 doesn't come with a physical keyboard. Ever since I paired my home bluetooth keyboard with my G2, it seems to think there's a physical keyboard. Whenever i reboot the device, physical keyboard is turned on and the soft keyboard doesn't pop out when I need it. I have to keep disabling the physical keyboard manually.
This is quite an annoyance, which i don't think is limited to the G2 as I previously noticed this on another Chinaphone running JB. Then I had worked around this by using the Hackers Keyboard from Google Play that had a setting to pop out the soft keyboard even when physical keyboard is present.
What can I do to have the physical keyboard not be enabled by default? (supposing that unpairing the BT keyboard resolves the issue, I would prefer not having to do this).
Thanks in advance for your help.
I've not used my Shield for a couple of weeks and when I came to use it, my logitech K400 keyboard has developed a problem. I can't seem to be able to click on anything. My trackpad works fine but if I try and click on an app or action, it doesn't respond to the left mouse, right mouse or even space. I have to move the pointer to the active point and press 'return'.
Not sure what has changed.... all I can think is that my barmy bulldog pup has trodden on the keyboard a few times.....
Maybe try switching your IME? Go to Settings/Keyboard.
