Just Flashed, Stuck on Splash Screen - Droid X General

I just flashed my DX following the instructions given here:
mydroidworld.com/forums/droid-x-discussion/6367-new-full-sbf-droid-x-2-3-340-a.html
and I got a "Pass" (I've done it twice now) and my phone hasn't been able to boot past the splash screen either time. I can boot into bootloader just fine and my computer detects the phone, I'm just not getting past the splash screen.
Edit: My guess is I should have done factory resets before and after the flash.
Update: I did a factory reset, and verified the md5checksum, flashing again.
Update #2: FIXED Factory reset was the charm! (Although I did redownload the sbf file, but my guess it was the factory reset)

i just had to sbf also. no problems on my end. it had to have been the download.

I bootloop everytime I sbf. Factory resets are mandatory. Surprised it wasn't stated in the guide.

Briked my phone?

I think i bricked my Droid X. i was running Rubix Focused and tryed to flash GingerAle 3.0 and now it just sits at the moto "M" logo. i can get into the recovery by pulling the battery but even after a wipe and a recovery it still just sits. did i brick it, and if so how can i fix it? please help, reletivly new to flashing roms.
P.S. I'll love you forever if i can fix it =)
now i think i really did it. I tried running a recovery image from a few days ago and now i cant get back into the recovery menu...
Sounds Like SBF Time
Sounds like SBF is going to be your friend here, if you don't know how, head to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11118819&postcount=2
and look for "SBF: What is it, and what does it do?!?"
OK, so i SBFed the phone, got all the way through it, got to the phone is rebooting and it just sits at the Moto "M" again. did i SBF wrong or what?
EDIT: I can get into the stock recovery... sort of. i can get to the ! with the droid next to it but nothing happens when i push the search button.
hmm, I know GB doesnt use the search button to pass that, try using vol UP+DOWN at the same time. perhaps the stock recovery isn't modified from SBF?
Woot that worked. got into recovery. wiped data and tryed a reboot, got stuck at logo again. should i try flashing back to the Rubix focused i had before?
Edit: it now boots into <3e> recovery and i get the e: signature verification failed instillation aborted when i try to install Rubix or Gingerale.
You can't install a custom roms from stock recovery

Bricked N7

Hey guys i am in serious trouble. I wanted to flash a new ROM on my device so i cleared both the caches, did a factory reset and then also formatted system. After this instead of flashing the new ROM i selected reboot system. After which i am stuck on google logo and can only enter bootloader. Not even recovery. I tried flashing CWM via the nexus 7 toolkit with no luck. It says sending CWM <some kb> and stays like that. I even tried flashing stock image via toolkit with no luck. What can i do?
Did you try rebooting in recovery through the toolkit. I am not sure but assume that ADB could save your N7
Are you using the stock cable? I noticed some cables work form my phone but not my N7. If not try that. Hope it works.

Wow thanks for the advice. I was using my samsung cable, but i now tried the stock cable and the processes started getting completed and shown as successful. So i tried flashing recovery , it said successful, rebooted back to the boot loader but did not boot into recovery.

I did try that earlier but it was failing due to wrong cable as stated above. But now it shows successful, reboots and comes back to boot loader with no recovery.
Any help?
EDIT: While using the wrong cable i tried flashing stock Google image but it failed at the flashing boot loader step so i had to disconnect it. And now my device have two boot loaders. First it shows the new 3.41 boot loader which i flashed and after i shut that the stock boot loader comes up. Please help me out.

Stock Nexus 7 wont boot after 4.2.2 update & factory reset

Got OTA after clearing framwork services, decided to factory reset from settings/backup reset.
After it shut down it proceeded to boot, gets past the google logo and about 20 seconds into the "X" then the screen brightens briefly then it shuts down, was totally stock and locked.
Totally stumped as to why this has happened, and help/ideas would be greatly appreaciated.

AW: Stock Nexus 7 wont boot after 4.2.2 update & factory reset
Put it on the charger for some time, at least half an hour, then try to start again. Looks to me as if you battery is too low.

1 - unlock the bootloader
2 - flash stock 4.2.1 image from fastboot
3 - flash the ota zip
if doing so it doesn't work, you'll need someone more experienced than me to help you
Battery was at 70%+
Recovery showed no command
Left it on charge for about half hour, tried booting and it still didn't work then when I next picked it up it was showing the language selection screen. So go figure, its back up and running.

Why would you do a factory reset after flashing the OTA? Anyway, if all else fails, return to stock 4.2.1 and update through OTA again, or better yet sideload the update.

Try flashing stock rom again, then OTA via the system updates in the settings menu.

Solved

edit: After going through 7 or so images, I finally got it to work. Ignore this post.
Does it boot? If so go to download mode and Odin a flash recovery

It does boot, and I have flashed it both with the sammobile 4.4.2 image, as well as the image linked on [ROM][TAR] Stock NAE Odin flashable thread in this forum.
The phone is working fine, but my issue is that it was not wiped. Because of that, applications are constantly giving crash errors, to the point where I cannot do anything with the phone at all.
I also cannot factory reset, as there is no recovery. Trying to factory reset via the touchwiz interface doesn't do anything either, since I'm assuming that uses the same method as the recovery.
I'll try to outline what I went through earlier.
1. Got the phone from him. Phone would not boot, stuck in bootloop.
2. Went into download mode, tried to flash 4.3 build via PDA in Odin. Did not work, still stuck in boot loop.
3. Went into download mode, tried to flash a different 4.3 build via PDA in Odin. Did not work, still stuck in boot loop.
4. Repeated 2 and 3 a few times to make sure it wouldn't work, no luck.
5. Went into download mode, tried to flash 4.4.2 build via PDA in Odin. File from either the stock NAE thread here, or the sammobile website. This worked and let the phone boot. HOWEVER, the phone was not wiped. It still had all applications, accounts, etc.
6. Phone starts acting up. Applications keep crashing, and cannot get past the error message before another crash comes up. Try to factory reset the phone, no luck. Try to turn off phone and go in to recovery mode, but can't.
This is where I am right now. This is why I think he somehow nuked his recovery.
How did you end up fixing it? Reflash??

Right. I had run through the 4.3 images 3 times each. All ended in bootloops.
I then used two different 4.4.2 images (one from this forum, one from sammobile). These both worked, but didn't wipe the phone or restore recovery. Just kept using these two, and after about 5 or so attempts I was magically able to access recovery again.
Ended up finding a bunch of junk on the phone I'm sure he didn't know how to use, incuding triangle away, rom manager, and goo manager. Not sure what he did, but it was something ugly.

Is my sister's phone officially dead?

She told me today that the phone wouldn't boot after most of her apps stopped working. Normally, I would factory reset since her phone isn't rooted, but it didn't work. I then tried to flash the latest firmware with RSDlite. After flashing, the phone stays on the motorola logo. Its suprising that my phone works just fine after one flash. I've tried flashing her phone to stock for three time already and no success. Is her phone offically dead or am I doing something wrong?

Everything was a go. I flashed the "VZW_XT907_4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1_CFC_1FF.xml" firmware, and it still gets stuck on the splash screen.

Tried the House of Moto. Can still go to recovery but won't go past the splash screen.
