I just flashed to the latest Virtuous Fusion rom (1.1.8) which is supposed to be compatible with netflix. I downloaded the netflix app from the market but am getting a 1005 streaming error. Also tried the mod2 apk update in the netflix app thread but am encountering the same problem.
Anyone know how to fix? I also tried rebooting but that didn't help. Read through the virtuous fusion rom thread in development but wasn't able to find anything. TIA.
Anyone experiencing the same issue w/ a fix?

Log onto it through your wi fi. It will work that way. It's a simple connection issue
Reinstalled netflix and cleared cache to fix problem. Thanks!

I'm posting this here because I can't post in the devlopers forum. I first installed Libery 1.5 from stock, the music player and anything to do with video files don't work. Music player says it can not play the file type, camcorder youtube ect. all force close. I tryed Multiple different ROM links for liberty 1.5 and couldn't get them to work. I just tryed fission 2.6 and same thing.
These things did work with my stock phone so please help. Can't imagine all of these ROM's all have the same glitch.
Sounds like you're not on the latest software. Are you on .340?

I don't think he is. I helped him get root and we flashed Librerty 1.5. I noticed it may be a kernel issue, as some other people have posted having errors with the music files. Is there a way to get him on the latest software? .. excuse me for not knowing, i use a different handset.
*EDIT* wiped data/factory reset and cleared caches.. installed a different ROM and all seems to be working correctly.
I loaded Dark Slide 3.2.1 now it all works fine. don't know but Dark slide is pretty sick I think I'll stick with it.

How long have you been having issues and did you use titanium backup to restore apps? That is the kernel that came with the Rom, have you tried any others? I am not sure why you would be having FC isuues or lag. My suggestion would be to wipe cache and dalvik cache and then reinstall the rom over the top of your current one. If that doesnt work, you can try a full data wipe/factory reset. Royal Glacier v1.3 will be out soon. You can also try that.
I did not back up apps as I was ok with downloading them again, since I don't have that many apps on my phone. I believe the kernel was not on the ROM when I flashed it over. I read the thread about changing kernels, which I did.
I followed all information to the teeth when I rooted my phone, if i do a full wipe my phone will still be rooted S off correct? ROM first then Kernel, correct?
Typically one would try to run fix_permissions when FCs happen in a known stable built.

My thread says nothing about changing kernels. Yes your phone will still be rooted after you wipe.
I am having an issue when im on edge my phone reboots itself when getting or sending data. has anyone else had this problem or is there something i can do??
The issues I'm having have to do with the camera. Everytime I take a picture it seems to mirror it. And another is when I try to send an mms video, the messaging app fc's. are there any known fixes or are these bugs? Can someone point me to a fix so that i can solve my issues?

What version are you on? Have you changed kernels or done any mods, or are you just running it how it came?

I'm on Royal Glacier 1.3 and the only thing I get on FC is my market. It does that over and over. Also I get an upside down screen. happened on Both things happened on 1.2 and 1.3

it wont let me edit yet, but forgot to say, I am useing the kernels that came with the roms, I didnt try any other, also I did a full wipe before going to 1.3, cleared all data
My suggestion for both of you would be to give the stock kernel from post #5 in my thread a flash and see if that helps anything. Make sure to wipe cache and dalvik first. That at least gives us a starting point to try and figure out what is going on. Thanks
I formatted the system from step 5, I didnt do that the first time and I believe that fixed the upside down screen, mostly just having a prob with the Market FC'ing, so I will run the stock kernel to see if that will fix the Market FC'ing, I will run this stock for a while and let you know the out come of it TrueBlue_Drew, Thanks
Update: I have ran the stock kernel all day and no Market FC, Normaly it's random but hasn't done it at all today so far

hey just wiped my ice glacier data and also the cache and flashed royal glacier v1.3, followed by flash of royal glacier blue theme, my maps and navigation do not work, I tried downloading maps from the market and it says : Duplicate Provider Authority, any advice?
hi guys, is anyone experiencing force close with the FM radio app in CM7? Ive done some searching and havent found anything...I flashed my phone thru RUU to stock then went back to cm7 after a recovery wipe and still no luck, any help?
I've got the same issue here. I have wiped and flashed CM7 #42 nightly a few time as well as fixed the file permissions and had no luck fixing the problem.
The fm radio on cm has been force closing since before the stable release although there is no fix yet,it is talked about in the cm threads

This is what I'm seeing in my logcat logs when it Force Closes on me. FM Radio worked fine RC 4.1 and earlier, but now Force Closes on CM7 Final.
the new release 7.0.2.1 didnt fix it for me, can anyone confirm this aswell?

when you install a CM7 nightly then the radio isn't changed.
It install only the ROM.
Why this question about the radio version?
i thought the problem of the reboot could be the Radio...

Well, i'm experimenting some freezing issues with my Htc Legend on CM 7.03, when the wifi is on, i launch Android market (or something else... like trillian, a game etc..) in order to search apps or upgrade installed ones, after few swipes... : big freeze, then reboot.
i'm experimenting this problem since the first stable release.
I'm running LauncherPro Plus as Home Replacement, have S2E (for A2SD) and the 7.13 radio.
I would just know if someone else do have this issue too.

same problem here too.
I had the same with one of the nighlies (87). I had Go Launcher has homescreen replacement.
Running 7.0.3 with ADB there were no issues anymore!

These WiFi reboots sound similar to those in ogo2's Sense 2.3 ROM, I wonder if they're linked?
Well ogo's, rom is 97% cyanogen 7, and cyanogen 7 has had these wifi issues since they started using htc code (see post in dev section).

well, going back to the latest stable version of cyanogenmod (7.0.3 at this time...even though i will miss the better responsiveness of adw in the newer nightlies) and using wifi fixer is a partial work-around to this problem for m.

Has anyone any experience with wifi network, which requiers to enter user name and password, first time you open the browser? I have such case at work, and my problem is tha this first page just won't load. It works ok on my coworkers phone (nexus s). Any suggestions what can I try. I've tried with Skyfire browser and with nativ cm browser, but it doesn't work. I'm using CM 7.0.3 stable

Has 5.1.1 came to the NP over OTA yet !? Talked to Netflix support and they are asking to roll back since it's not supported..

It seems more people are unable to use netflix than are. If you have a working netflix on 5.1.1 or cm 12.1 5.1.1 please post what recovery you used to install your rom and what exact procedure you used to wipe before hand or anything else you can think of that could be the reason netflix could be giving this error to so many people. Have you tried manually restarting your Nexus Player?
Sorry, I know this is a little old, but I just came across the same problem. Surprisingly just rebooting the device fixed everything.

This is a known issue recognized by Netflix. Here is a work around for stock np. Cm and lollirock don't have the problem.
