Ok I am attempting to theme fauxs AOSP rom and for some reason when I add my transparent shade_bg.png to the systemui it is still solid grey. But when I do the same thing to cm7 it becomes transparent. Am I doing something wrong?

Guys, I was wondering if I needed a theme, or if its simple to change the icon colors of the statusbar icons on Task's AOKP.
What I would like, is white icons like in TW. I dont like the gray icons like speaker, or when the phone is on vibrate. Or when you have the alarm on for example. I would like those icons to be white.
How do I change this?

I have installed CM11 Nightlies and the CM 4.4 Gapps package and the transparent status bar and nav bars are not transparent. I looks as if they start to go transparent and then cut off to black about a third of the way through. (See screenshot)
Any ideas?

For some reason after changing the wallpaper from a CM wallpaper to a stock wallpaper and then back again the transparency looks correct. It must have been a graphical glitch.
I want to change the color of the notification shade from the ugly dark teal blue to something else. Preferably like a semi transparent dark grey./black.

I tried messing with layers themes once and completely messed up the phone took for ever to restore.
If someone is going to recommend a layers theme, I will need help setting it up. Again the notification shade color is the only thing i want to change for now.
Hi all. I'm having this problem since the first pie update. The systemui notification pulldown text color seems to be wrong in all dark themes. I already updated the themes with latest version for pie.
The problem also happened to navigation bar when I use dark theme in some system apps. Any clue why is this happening? What should I do?
