Just wanna ask if anyone ever had a lock on gps using maps application? My phone's gps never had a lock.
Any suggestions/feedback is most welcomed.

You should use GPS Status&Tools and you'll have quicker gps signal fix.
Are you using stock rom or android ? If android is it nand or SD ?
Does the N7 have genuine GPS or is the positioning just done by using wireless?
Its a real GPS....to prove it to yourself download GPS status and toolbox.

i want an offline gps app that supported fully by Gs4 because until now i was using the mobile maps 10 and on my Gs4 is crashing.
if somebody knows an app with Cyprus maps i will appreciate it
