How do i change bootanimation on evil d new 3d rom??
Sent from my Htc vision using XDA App
absolute system app. Its 1.99 but it easily changes bootanimation and fonts. And there are a ton to choose from. Definitely worth the $2.
same as any other pure Sense ROM... either use Root Explorer after ROM has been flashed open system>customize>resource replace bootanimation.zip with the one you want to use, or unzip ROM on your computer look in same folder replace the bootanimation.zip and re-zip and flash
Thanks to the both of u really helped out alot!!!

Hi Alex,
But when i want deodexed the files the kitchen put out this message " no *.odex Files found" i think that is the problem why I can't cook the theme in. As base I have your rom.

I assume he doesn't have the .odex files as they'll be deodexed already...I've tried cooking in framework mods and most leave you with a bootloop. No idea why, though

Changes:
New bootanimation
Notificatiobar animation
transparent notificationbar background
new font
added circular battery
Main colors: Black and white
Screenshot: attached
the theme and the bootanimation are in my 2nd and 3rd post.
Pls post some feedback
Edit: pls ignore the 1st screenshot, it shows the theme from stockwell^^
here is the theme
Bootanimation
and here the bootanimation
Nice one. It looks less "weird" than the cyanbread
Like the theme, but what's whit the thing spinning around the android in the notifications? Drags the perfomance down, it lags.
Yeah you are right, but i like it ^^
I think that it's removable

Theme without notificationbar animation
I made a version for you without the notificationbar animation
I tried by placing the framework apk into the phone without changing the fonts. But the time display in the top right become black (no time display with the black background). Is it normal?
No.
Try this:
1. Download the theme
2. Extract it and delete the font folder.
3. Move the changed theme to your phone and flash it.

I installed by placing the extracted framework-res.apk to /system/framework with proper permission. Maybe ROM related? I am on a B137 ROM.
Mhhh i don't know, sry.
Try to flash it with the clockworkrecovery by stockwell.

Just extract your boot animation from /system/media...then email it to your brother or whatever and then he'll replace his boot animation with yours that you extracted. press thanks if I helped!

Go to UOT kitchen, cook yourself a ZIP file with bootanimation only (see that you give the correct location - different kinds of ROMs expect it in different places!), replace the bootanimation.zip in the ZIP with yours, disable signature check in recovery, flash.
Or:
Look up "Android sign apk tutorial" in Google, follow one of the tutorials to set up the signing environment, and then sign the ZIP.
Thanks both of you

Currently running Glacier AOSP 1.3.0, and am annoyed by the H
Any flashable zip for turning the H to 4G?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda app-developers app
You don't need a flashable zip. Rom already has all the 4g icons you need.
Just extract your systemui, go into res/drawable-hdpi and rename all the 4g icon files you want to use to h. Should look like this.. from this(stat_sys_data_connected_4g.png)
To this(stat_sys_data_connected_h.png)
You need to do this to 4 files. Connected PNG, in PNG, inout PNG and out PNG.
Once you're finished renaming the 4g icons you want, either the green or the blue 4g icons you're going to zip the systemui folder.
Once it finishes zipping the folder, go to the systemui.zip and rename it to systemui.apk. move the new systemui.apk to system, change permission and move to app folder.
Restart your device and you're done. Remember to backup your original systemui.apk.
Looks harder than it what it really is. It's very simple to do this.

Worked for my Glacier (had to put the systemui in the rom I flashed, didn't lose any data) but my Galaxy Nexus didn't like it. It shows up blank on my nexus while my Glacier shows the correct stuff.
Nexus is stock rooted 4.1.1 btw.

I want to port the lidroid toggles from Simplicity to USSRv7. How would I do this? I have the lidroid res, system ui, and framework res apks.
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
Change the file extension of lidriod-res.apk to zip
Unzip lidriod-res.zip
goto res/drawable-hdpi
Copy the toggles pngs only
Past them to your unzipped res/drawable-hdpi
zip back up and change extention back to apk
put in flashable zip and flash with system mounted
I just replaced my lidroidres.apk with the one from the ROM I wanted and it worked! Thanks though

Yes just replace lidroid-res.apk to change toggles if your rom uses lidriod in its ui
Any problems just unzip the lidroid-res.apk of the toggles you want & past them into one from your rom
