Hello my Legend before root was no brand Froyo 2.2 and GPS works well.
Then I ran successfully the root and installed the stable version 7 CyanogenMod but the gps does not want to officials in spite of having GPS installed booster for the test plus gps fix and to check ... but no signs of life, not satellites even see them ... how could hook ... I tried to flash with the nightly version, but nothing came back to the stable .... what do you recommend? Froyo return to 2.2 for a further verification? then I'll root again?
Help please!
thanks
I've replied you in your thread at Dev forum... Anyways, I solved the GPS issue on my legend by upgrading the radio to version 7.13.35.13 as suggested in one of the posts in CM7 forums.

Hello Everyone,
I want to know what the best GPS settings are for the Vibrant. I have seem to not been lucky with GPS settings in the past week. Everything worked well until i flashed a new rom and lost the GPS ability to lock. It can see the satellites but not lock on.
Can someone direct me to the best flashable zip or give me a step by step to change the settings? Ive also attempted to flash a few gps fixes but the settings don't stick! Could I have fried my radio?

No GPS settings may be needed unless you insist on staying on your current rom.
AFAIK, i9000 based roms break the GPS while JK2 based ons won't. That's been my experience anyhow. So, I now ignore all i9000 based roms because I need the GPS to work. I don't expect this situation to change either until Vibrant kernel sources for 2.2 have been released.
Unofficial official Stock JK2 2.2 (CWM / ODIN) or AOSP-ish v1.1 are JK2 based while Macnut, Onyx and Obsidian (v5 excluded) roms are not. You can typically easily tell what you're running by whether the i9000 logo shows up on boot or not.

Have you tried this?

Hi,
I am in India and had bought a Desire HD here(software 1.32.720.6), but i think after the OTA to froyo, the gps stopped working. I tried every solution I could find to fix this without rooting the phone but it did not help. I tried rebooting, factory setting, GPS Status type tools, standing for hours in clear sky etc.
Finally I rooted and installed Leedroid gingerbread rom, but even that didn't help.
What finally helped was the flash of a new radio! I installed the radio which was recommend by Leedroid and all seems fine now!
So I think HTC's radio had some issues, which are resolved in this ver of radio.
Now I am able to quickly find about 9 satellites and lock to it.
Anybody going to try this, should NOT forget to keep his backups of the partition 7, 17, original hboot and nandroid backup asap. Let me know if you have any queries.
I installed Leedroid from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056727
The ver of Radio which fixed my issue was 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
Other than that I now have Leedroid ROM ver 3.0.3 and Leedroid Kernel 3.1.1
Back to using Waze now using Gingerbread!
Today I installed CM7.2 following the instructions in the thread. I came from stock froyo 2.2.1 and everything worked fine but had some random reboots.
Since I have CM7.2 installed my wifi doesn't work anymore. If I turn it 'on', it doesn't search for available networks. It disables itself after +-30sec. I also noticed I don't have a Mac-adress anymore.
Is it possible that the problem is caused by doing no 'remove caches'. It wasn't in the instructions so I didn't do it. Should doing that fix the problem?
reflashing always works hehe
Tried it and it worked.
Sorry for the useless thread...
I am having this same problem with the newest Aurora ICS, but reflashing didn't fix it.
If you want a stable GB rom forget about the official roms and use any custom GB with .32 kernel. These are the most stable ones. I use ezet's.
Does anyone facing troubles only with GPS on latest official MM ver. 134?
Can someone please share gps.conf file from beta MM ROM (ver. 61-111)?
Flashed all once again and now all works fine.
Hello! I'm currently having problems with my gps. How did you flashed the latest official MM? Thank you!

Full wipe and re-flash full rom. Also I can provide you to check gps.conf file and edit Nat servers with your local settings (root is needed) . Look at that https://www.gadgetdaily.xyz/make-your-phone-get-a-gps-lock-quicker/
GPS working great now. Thank you so much! Cheers from Philippines
mine works but not accurate and signal lost on and off....
After a couple of days, my phone also start losing it's gps. I'm not sure if what caused it was because I did root and installed xposed on it. Hoping I get a stable gps. It's really hard to drive without a stable gps connection.

Can't help you guys I'm on RR now.
No worries. Hope someone can help us with this problem.
Hello people of the internet, I'm currently using a ROM installed by a shop 4 years ago, Android 6.0.1. And right now I'm looking to install a newer ROm on my phone but most of the ROMs I've found didn't have valid download links. I was wondering if anyone got any idea about the current available ROMs for the A910F and what the most stable ROM currently is.
The main reason which is making me change the ROM is the GPS, the GPS on my phone is working at all and sometimes it works in Google Maps but very very rarely.
