Hello,
I came back to Windows Phone 7 and Android 3 days ago with MAGLDR 1.13.
Everything worked well (except a problem of overheating with WP7, more than with MAGLDR 1.10).
But a few hours ago, the phone was still in Sleep Mode, and when I wanted to check my sms I saw that I was not connected to the phone network.
I turned on then off the airplane mode... Same thing "no network".
I restarted the phone, swithed to Android... Same problem.
I thought that my provider could have some issues with their network, so I tried an automatic network search... Nothing at all...
Any idea please ?
Thank you very much

Ok I managed to have my network back... I cooled down the battery and the phone with an air conditioner and plugged the battery again and it works now... I don't understand why but it worked.
I tried this because I had an issue when I bought the phone. When I received it, I couldn't charge it at all. I refreshed the battery and the phone with an air cooler and it worked.

Hi there,
when I woke up this morning, I hit the power button to switch on the display, in order to see, if there are any emails. However, my HD2 would not switch on. Panically, I connected it to the power cable - no light on top. Aaah... What happened? Yesterday, in the evening, everything was totally fine, everything worked, no problems so far.
Then I took out the battery, put it back in and then the HD2 started up again. Thank God! The battery was still at 80% - so, I am still wondering, what happened to my phone tonight.
Do you have any idea? Did you have a similiar problem?
My blackberry had same issue like your. I replaced the battery, and problem solved. If it's happen to your hd2 again or more times, try to replace battery.
Is it possible you dropped or knocked the phone when you put it to sleep
the night before and dislodged the battery ?
it's probably just a "sudden phone death" problem like it has been first pointed out several months ago in this forum... relocating the battery to force a reboot usually works
Something within Sense or WinMo likely crashed whilst the phone is in standby and it wont recover without a battery pull or pressing the reset button (red one under the battery case).
Updating to another ROM/Radio can remove these problems.
just bought a used HD2 for tmobile
checked it everything seemed to work
tried to connect to wifi it started first time went all the way to showing that its connecting to network.
then froze up
i pulled the battery and restarted, now it wouldnt even go into wifi menu.
i can turn it off but it wouldnt turn back on
its been sitting here rolling the balls at me for abotu 10 minutes no result...
by the balls i mean the windows hour glass waiting waiting...
Here is my story :
one week ago vibration of my phone stopped working. I checked all settings. It was all OK.
after 3 days I opened the battery door and realized the battery is puffy. And surprisingly when the battery door was removed the phone vibration started to work. It seemed vibration problem was because of battery puff and some pressure on something inside phone...
I decided to buy a new battery.
That night before sleep I did a wrong job and put the puffed battery inside phone and connected the charger.
In the morning the phone was turned off. I tried to turn it on. but it showed a battery Icon and rebooted over and over. I tried this several times but every time It didn't boot up.
I went to service center and they put a new battery inside phone. but phone didn't boot again. (I didn't see if it showed the battery icon or not)
Then they removed the battery and connected the phone to a power supply. surprisingly it booted up normally.
They said there is a problem with phone board and they should change the whole board. But I think it's not a true diagnosis.
Dear professionals please help. What you think ? What things should I check? And what should I do now ?
My phone is turned off and when I connect it to charger It shows a battery logo and reboots over and over and over
any help would be appreciated.
Hello,
I received the YotaPhone 2 (YD206) today.
The box was sealed.
When I tried to turn on the phone, it didn't start. I thought it was empty so I put in on charger for 2 hrs.
After that I tried again , but still nothing happened -- i was holding power button multiple times, as long as 5 minutes at the time, but there was simply no response -- no vibration, no sound, screen remains black (not turned on), anything at all.
I tried different chargers as well (Xiaomi and Samsung one) -- they weren't working with this phone either.
When I connect phone to a PC, I just hear sound that something is connected (I saw installing drivers notice first time I connected it), but nothing happens at all. I don't see the phone in my computer or anywhere else.
Is there way I can fix this somehow? What else can I try?
Thanks!
You can try unlocking the bands like described here.
Not sure it will help but you can at least try.

Sounds like the phone is defect. The only thing I can think of is that it somehow freezed up and you will need to let the battery drain so all power is off the phone and then try to recharge it. Draining the phone completly without screen use can take up to 7 days.
I finally managed to turn it on,by keeping it on charger for whole day and night and after a couple of attempts it was on.
I thought battery voltage was pretty low which prevented it from turning on.
I used a phone for a day, completely discharged it and then recharged it to 100% again. I thought everything is gonna be good now.
Then I wanted to upgrade to Lollipop, I decided to use YotaFlasher to flash EU KitKat first, and that worked fine. After that, I used OTA update to download Lolipop.
Download finished, and I was offered to "restart device and apply update", but as soon as I confirmed, the device went off and I can't turn it on anymore. What the heck is happening with this yotaphone? (battery was at 97%)
I can't turn it on, restart, put in download or recovery mode, get it to charge or get the screen on. Also PC don't recognize it *AT ALL* -- not even sound that something is connected. It looks completely dead (again).
Any ideas what I can do to fix my new problem?
So it has came to this....
My tmobile note 3 is suffering from wifi problem which is causing it to turn of and on itselft iin such a loop that it happens every 2 seconds.
Wifi was working fine other day and this happend out of the blue.
It has happened a while ago but it resolved it self.
I was running stock kernel and rom unrooted (sigh....)
I have tried solutions which came up from google search. (wifi scanning and etc..)
I opened up my motherboard but it looks just as before when it was working.
I got a glimpse of wifi action only after phone was shutdown and it was offline charging and after booting wifi was working for 2 or 3 minutes.
Now Im runnning linageos 7.1 rom without google apps so there are no location services causing it to restart.
What might be the problem is low battery voltage not giving the wifi chip enough power to run but just to start which explaing why it was working for a little time after offline charging but I couldnt replicate the solution.
Sorry for misstypes.
If wi-fi works properly when running the latest stock rom, it could be an incompatible kernel or ROM.
Its not working properly on stock rom and kernel.
It seems like its restarting wifi by itself so fast that it cant even do the scan properly.
It loads up wifi netwoks after been shutdown for few hours but it can connect because it starts to restarts again.
Could it be a defective wifi chip? I have come across two Samsung s4 (one sgh-i337 and one sgh-i337) that work perfectly except for wi-fi. With both phones, I toggle wi-fi to the on position, I see the message that it is turning on wi-fi for a few minutes, then wi-fi just turns itself off and stays off until I toggle it to the on position again. Both phones do this over and over so I changed the motherboard and everything went back to normal.
I appreciate you comment, really I do, but replacing the motherboard seems to pricey for this old phone.
I will most probably switch to nexus 6p.
Here take my thanks as my graditude and merry xmas
You have two solution
First one,
1-turn off the phone
2- connect the charger to your phone
3- simultaneously turn on the phone
The wifi should work fine
Second one, replace your battery
The problem comes from the battery voltage which is less than 3.7v at startup of your mobile for old and fake battery which can not turn on the wifi correctly. You can use Ampere applaction to measure the battery voltage (not the current)
