Ive encountered a wierd problem/bug recently.
ive used Floyo 0.25 since it became available here on XDA and havent had any probs until today.
Everytime i start the web browser it turns to black screen then shuts down the browser. Cant load anything not even settings init.
So my question is why does this happend?
i havent installed any other apps then GO Launcher EX, GO sms, GO contacts and GO notification and Dr.web antivirus.
And this problem started today.
any solutions ?

by installing floyo 0.25 on my x8 can i run android 2.2 games and apps plz tell as new to the phone
removed the AV rebooted tried to use Browser but problem persists throu it all =/
on a note ive tried Dolphin and Opera aswell same problem there.
I don't know. Try wipe cache /full wipe in xRecovery

I`m glad at least you know what caused your problem with floyo v0.25 I still donno in my case. My touchscreen just gave up after installed v0.25. Not sure if it is anythung to do with the rom,or it was the time for my screen to give up...

OK so I went from having force closing problems to wifi problems and now it's market problems I'm slowly getting better at this. So when I want to download something on the market it starts, downloads to 10 percent and just stops and I have no idea. This happens almost every 5 or so downloads and I once cleared cache an it worked for just one application and that's it. Thanks for your help guys

[Q] marketplace not working
as of today my android marketplace hasnt worked... i click an app to download and install and it starts the download then the thing just disappears from my notification bar and it never actually installs on my device. ive tried this on several different apps, including some that i have downloaded before but decided to uninstall, yet the problem remains. im running cm7 nighty #35 if thats any help. can anyone explain whats up?
First thing I would try is to clear Market cache by going to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Scroll down to Market, select Force Stop then Clear cache, and try downloading the app again.
yeah i had tried that. but no luck, it didnt work. i guess maybe itll fix itself when i update my rom. i dont know
Drum doesn't work did that already I think it's the rom maybe they will fix it soon...

I was having an issue with it as well (but i'm on cm7, if it makes a diff). I did the clear cache/stop updates method which worked great the first time. Then the issue happened again, i cleared cache and rebooted, worked fine. THEN i had the issue again, (but i noticed it seems to have happened after using the clean feature in sd maid). Removed sd maid, cleared cache, havent had a problem since.

I have a probleme as the title says.
I tryed floyo 0.20 and FroyoBread (I've the good baseband, i've done the full wipe ...) and when i'm trying to dl an app, my phone freezing et rebooting.
I've wipe the market cache, try to dl with wifi or 3G but the result is the same.
I hope someone will can help me. Thank and sorry for my English.

I've done a mistake.
My phone's freezing after the end of the dl, when he must install the app.
And the phone reboot on SE logo or I must remove battery.

Reinstall rom and dont do again full wipe..... its classic prob on froyo

My phone's rebooting again again again and again.
I don't find any solutions.
I reflash the rom without wipe anything and I reboot the phone etc...
I've tried everything and it still bug.
However, the rom is fully fonctionnal. Only the market is bugging.
I up my topic because I have more precision and I really want to put a custom rom on my X8.
So, after testing 3 roms (miniCM, Floyo 0.20 and FroyoBread), I saw that the problem is still the same.
I can't install any apk in my phone.
At the moment where the message "installation" appear in notification, my phone's freezing.
I'm trying to download in the android market's site but it still the same.
What can I do ?
You should try formatting your SD card...
I manage to solve my problem with restoring factory settings.
For the moment it's working.
I hope it will last.

Lately I've been experiencing some weird and suddenly slow downs on my X8. I'm using Floyo 0.30 (updated it from 0.20 using advanced restore > system restore only) with GO Launcher. It's really weird, even if i'm not using any app it slow downs for 2~5 minutes and then it's ok again, like it's initializing again or opening some app...
Is this normal? It's becoming really annoying, because it occurs even when I'm playing a game or using Opera to browse a website...

Full wipe? or reboot again? or you cant try wipe chace partition/dalvik chace?
You could use another launcher because some people say that it slows down the phone!
if it doesn't help try doing what howardmatthew168 said!
I recommend full wipe and format sd card
I've seen that GO Launcher had a problem in an older version, which was killing apps randomly when the phone isn't active.. Now, that's fixed and it seems it's working a bit faster... Anyway, I wiped dalvik cache and cache partition today, it seems smooth now! If the slow downs somehow come back, I'll ask for help again..

Recently after downloading the newest play store I started seeing an error message about unfortunately the process gapps has stopped working .
this was happening whenever i tried to add an account and when opening some of my apps including the browser and play store

it was annoying me but it would go away and the app would immediately open for me after so it was not that big of a problem.
I tried to solve the problem first by uninstalling updates to the play store in application manager
,
then by flashing roms and factory resetting
, however this did not help at all.

. finally last night at work my phone had three random reboots . my phone has never done that before
. I searched on google and found a very easy fix and once again my phone is like new
.
the fix.
settings/ application manager/scroll to left until you reach the all applications screen/ touch menu screen left of the home button/ reset app preferences.

Just wipe the data and cache, then flash rom and flash a new gapps package...there you go...:good:
Sure if you want to do a factory reset and are using a custom rom... I guess I didn't make it clear that this was for stock rom without having to wipe data. But to each his own whatever works

thanks a lot, it seems to work! I have tried other tips that I found on the internet and none of them work, but this one did the job!
When I open my device some apps crashes extensively that I cannot work on it.
After a bit of testing, I found that when my phone is connected to WiFi , it starts acting like this.
Apps that crash are:
Trebuchet
.com.process.acore
.com.process.gapps
All Google apps
Sometimes eBay.
I tried doing factory reset,but was of no use.
I installed cwm too. Again nothing is happening .
The in advance.
(Edit): Please don't tell me to reinstall cyanogen 11.
(Edit): The device I am talking about is a yu yureka. I haven't did rooting yet.
