local Harvey Norman stores were selling the note at 50% off retail price, with no contracts, no strings attached. 4 units per outlet. missed out on that one!

Not much of a deal considering Amazon has been selling them for about 30 dollars less for a couple weeks now.

Today I took the white note in telcel México for 35 us dollars and here selling unlocked greatest offer I'm grave it

Price Drop?

Has the Note 10.1 price dropped everywhere, because I was just on Amazon and the 16gb is now 450 and the 32gb is 500.

Looks like their Galaxy Tab 2 10.1s are also a little cheaper at 329 now.
Is this everywhere? Just Amazon? Temporary?

It's because I finally bought one the other day. Every time I buy something, it goes on sale the next week or so. At least I got mine at Costco, so it was about the same price after tax.

Yep, just noticed best buy is also selling the note 10.1 for $450 NOW. Was 500 just yrsterday.

I got mine around Christmas for $450 at best buy. Two weeks later the same store was selling them for $400. I brought in my reciept and they gave me the difference in cash Then after Christmas they were back at $450 and have been ever since!

Noticed the price drop too. I bought mine when it came out for 550€ and now it is 350€. (16GB 3G version) I never saw such a huge price drop on a tablet/smartphone I owned before.

The unveiling of the note 8 seems to have had a positive affect for consumers. Most major retailers dropped their price on the note 10.1 late last week, right before MWC started in Barcelona. The note 8 was unveiled by Samsung at MWC over the weekend. This week, they should be unveiling a successor to the SGIII and a new 10-inch tab (no successor to the note 10.1 is expected this year; CES 2014 is the likely venue where any upgrade to the note 10.1 would be revealed).

Really? There is no expected successor this year for the note 10.1? I was holding out getting one because I thought they would release a new one pretty soon. Where did you see that there wouldn't be a successor anytime soon?

I just got the 32gb note from bhphotovideo for $449. they are selling it for the same price as the 16gb

Amazon UK dropped the price from £630 to £579.21 in 2 days.
Amazon Italy is selling it for 621€ (the cheapest I've seen for now).
The only difference is product code.

As title... I see that a couple of UK retailers have got the Note 8 at £199...down some £100...
Is this an indication of a new version on the same lines as the 10.1 2014 edition?

Hopefully, however quite a few retailers have put the price back up i, e John Lewis, and its only available from Amazon UK from 3rd party sellers.
Lets hope the 2014 Note 8 comes with some stellar specs.

India Pre-Order Waiting Room

Since we will start getting deliveries only from next week in India (hoping for 25th Onwards in major cities), thought of opening this thread to share and discuss the nervous excitement we all have before a new phone comes. I've ordered a Mystic Black Note 20 Ultra. Went for it since i got a good credit value on my Note 10+ which is still pretty incredible. With exchange, I had to pay INR 55470 and will get INR 10K voucher as well. So overall a pretty sweet deal. How about you guys? From which phone you are upgrading, where have you ordered it from and which city you are from.

P.S: I'd suggest previous samsung owners to check samsung shop app on their phone before ordering the note 20 ultra. I got a INR 2000 discount coupon from that app.
