Hey guys, I have experimented with CM7 a little bit and at the end I had a CM7 with the ARC Launcher. It looks really really great in combination with theme-choosers honeycomb theme!
Its so smooth! Does anybody else had such an idea too or am I the first?

I'm not responsible if it is not working or you brick something:
Attention: the file attached adds Timescape too!
0.1 Backup the ROM you use now.
1. Flash jerpeleas baseband provided in his package.
2. Flash his CM7 update.zip
3. Flash ARC_and_Timescape.zip.
Reboot and you should have the Arc Launcher!
Use the thanks button if everything works! Thanks.

Oh I can try, but I don't remember exactly! When I'm at home I will search, I found them on rdannars post of his Froyo Rom.

update? I know there's a lot of skilled people in this forum, please try if these works so us noobs can know if it's safe to install..
These are drivers from x10 I'm pretty sure it will take more than a few minor tweaks to get working on x8. I really hope I get proved wrong though.

Dammit, man who wrote that article is TOTAL n00b... he didn't even mention that it's for SE, nor that it's for Xperia, and ONLY for SE Xperia X10... that thing there is Bin4ry's flash bundle for X10 dualtouch...

Flashing the kernel is an success, aplying the multi-touch to all apps bricked my device. I restored Xrecovery backup and that's what unbricked it, try doing the step that aplies multitouch to all apps and tell me if it worked for you

Doubt it, I'm sure the MT drivers in the package are kernel dependent therefore wont work on stock x8 kernel.

Sounds promising.
TBH all you need to do to start with is created a deodexed ROM with the current improvements implemented (OC'd bootloader).

Just made the stock Froyo bloatware-free.
Features:
rooted
superuser
replaced stock Launcher with LauncherPro
removed all bloatware
added Android Terminal
some other smallies
Just struggling around with WiFi but rest is ok.
Once that's done I will start with CyanogenMod. You may check my site as I created a placeholder for the new ROM. Once it's ready it will be available for download there!
Yesterday huawei released a update package with enhancement of WiFi , it may help you on WiFi .

Make sure you've got the right wifi driver modules being loaded by the boot image to correspond to the libs.

Edit: Also you claim to have removed the bloatware, I would have to assume you just mean the stuff in system/app and not stuff from /cust. If it's the latter I'm wondering what you've done there considering the different cust versions.

That would be great, but I'd be asking for way too much as the LG UI apps are way too different looking (and better looking ) I may have time to do them soon
