Is it possible to stream the music and movies I have on my EVO to an iPad or Honeycomb tablet?

I have this at home on my Roku, and the Android app is so good you need to check it out.
It does cost $4.99, but its so worth it if you have a large selection of movies on your home computer.
I'm using it on my Mac and not only does it give me unreal streaming of the movies, but music and iPhoto as well.
Super great app for the 7.7
To those of you with the Verizon tab 7.7. Do any of the movie rental apps support outputting rentals to a TV via HDMI? I often rent movies when traveling, and if I don't get a chance to watch them, I like to output them to my TV with HDMI adapter. Can anyone confirm the MediaHub or even Blockbuster app will output to a TV via HDMI? Also, if it is possible, what is the quality like?
Wish I could help, but I don't rent movies and I probably couldn't with play movies cause I'm rooted.

Hi,
My main goal is to stream from pc to my atrix 720p and 1080p mkv file. I've tried with vlc server on pc and vlc direct on atrix, but with 720 or 1080p mkv file it doesn't work. Instead with Stadnard definition it works well.
Anyone know if exists a way to get hd video streamed on atrix?
I'm doing this because i've an ATOM + ION in my living room that runs 24/7, and when I watch a movie or a tv series from my bedroom I put the phone on dock and i reproduce via CIFS partition mounted the file on the media center.
*But with HD file Atrix can't reproduce it (lacks of the neon instruction and VFP isntruction it seems to not be enough). So I i've to find a way to view hd file on my atrix...
Thanks,
WZ
bump!
Why would you want to view HD video on a qHD display? Unless you're using Entertainment Center, but I doubt you could stream when using that.
use dlna protocol, is way better to stream video then samba..
if you are on a linux machin I suggest to use minidlna...
I use Qloud media to stream all the videos from my PC to phone

In my experience video renders too dark on atrix to do any serious media consumption

You can stream 1080P video but it can't be too high a bit-rate and HD media player doesn't support all types of audio, your wireless connection would be a factor as well.
I am using smbnetfs via my custom webtop to play movies/tv off my server PC.
Cheers!

The simpliest solution I've found? NO-One. We have NO CHANCE to play or stream 720 or 1080p with high bitrate and high profile!
So, here is how i solved this issue:
Sold the atrix, bought a galaxy nexus for 100 bucks more.
Now I can PLAY with diceplayer and ES file manager via WIFI 1080p blu-ray quality, 35 mbit very high profile WITHOUT ANY LAG.
Tegra 2 multimedia performance are really poor :/
Didn't see a post with this, this is the main reason I backed the ouya.

Not a big deal, even my Galaxy Nexus with the XBMC hardware accelerated test build stream 720p over UPnP smoothly. I went ahead and bought an MK808 stick, but might get an Ouya when it's released for better hardware and quality control.

Cool video. This is my main reason for buying the OUYA as XBMC is the only way I have found to stream movies to my kids PC while preserving the DVD menus and subtitles. I would rather my 6, 8 and 10 year old sons not handle my DVDs directly so I store all their movies on a 3TB hdd... can't wait for this to get in in June.
Awesome to have xbmc, that will go great with an external HD for offline media. I wonder if a usb DVD or Blueray will work in the OUYA?
I was wondering if it was possible.to stream movies stored my s5 to an ipad and if so how. I'm hoping to save myself having to buy a 12v tv for my camper!
