Well guys I will be leaving my epic and going to a nexus s. Its been fun knowing u guys and getting help and helping u those that needed. Well my mother in law really need a better phone so I can't wait that long. So if I'm lucky I will still be within my 30 days to get the gs2. But nexus s is geting ics

Dang, well Esteway.619, I hardly knew ya but I know you did a well help to our Epic4G development section and its really sad to know another great member of our Epic family has left for another device ;( haha. Because I liked him.
I just picked up a Galaxy Nexus. So if I'm not gone, I won't be around nearly as often as I was.
Thank you to everyone I met and shared experiences with.
Thank you for helping me learn about Android and get me to where I am now(I was a complete noob when I started )
Thank you to the amazing developers who made this phone amazing. We've seen way more Android versions than most, and we will continue to see more.

You could leave us with an epic gift. The guy that made the Unbrickable Captivate mod is looking for a Vibrant he can sacrifice, completely tear down, so he can give the Vibrant an unbrickable mod. If yours is toast, you could donate it to him, and leave a bit of a legacy behind you here.

Ive never talked to him personally, just happened across the thread the other day and read up on it, and he has the Vibrant on his list of devices he is looking for that he can apply the mod to. Ill try to find a link for it, but if I were you Id check out his thread, might make the parting of ways a little easier.
Edit - this is the specific thrread I was referring to, AdamOutler does a lot of good work, and has rolled this out to several devices already. Have a look.

That @AdamOutler guy does a great job for the Android community, I constantly hear about him on XDAtv and the "Unbrickable mod" he provided is friggin titz!
If in fact @ipetloudog does provide him with his device that would help soo many others using the Vibrant. Great thread guys! Really showcases what this whole android thing is about.

I am dead serious. I am buying my new phone tomm morning.

SO EXCITING. Support for almost all CM7 devices should mean our shifty is getting it!

TBH I think everyone already knows that the Cyanogenmod team is doing what they always do. So nothing new about this. Most people are just too lazy to follow the members on twitter or keep up with their tweets. It's nothing to get excited about yet. Who knows how long it is going to take them to get us a flashable update anyways. Could be this month, could be 4 months down the road, we just don't know. The point is don't get your hopes up and expect anything soon.

CM is far from dead. What a douchebag move though.

Quite sad and tragic why someone would wanna do this but no doubt CM will get over this and move onwards and upwards.

Cm is not dead, but the unnamed person is a flaming dirtbag. It'll just cause the site to be down for the most part until they get it sorted out.
