hello !
After modding some system's apk of diferents ROM's with some difficulties , I'd like to remind to all modders to take special care with .9.png files. Actualy, it's common to try to compile an apk and to have issues with these files that were modified the bad way (I confess it's boring to mod these images ! .
I think especialy in (tw)framework-res, settings, ... Well, perhaps it's better to post this reminder in "Galaxy 3 Themes and Apps" section ?

long'm in search of the manila folders v 2.0 ext 1919 for the kitchen. and downloaded this from here on xda but I get errors when installing, so I need these folders functional. thanked them in advance to all.

Manila 2.0 come from HTC Touch 2 (Mega) , dump it from here http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Mega/ .
Every chef here has learn how to make own kitchen,apply settings and customization, but keep in mind that we arent some kind of magician, we have Search and lost many time here in XDA only to find a way to have a good Kitchen and we are still learning nowdays.
On that note , when you post a question dont expect yourself to always have quick reply , just wait.
EDIT: Forgot to say that ChefCentral was made for help people interested in Rom Development, explain better your problem and you will gain the proper help.

Hi, I'd like to start porting some themes, but I have no idea where to start. I'm not a noob when it comes to computers, and I know a little about coding and defining stuff, so that's not a problem.
Can someone link a good tutorial for this? All my Google searches turned useless so I'd be grateful if you gave me a link you recommend. Also, what are the special procedures to get a theme working in our phone, like, do we need to use correct resolution and colors and so on?
I found out that twframework-res and framework.apk contain basic images, but I could use some help here.
I'm not a themer, but you could check out the theme section of this forum.

so i worked on my rom for some days now and want to test it ...... as my phone has been taken away(too much textingSAD}
i cant test it!!!
so i need someone to test it for me ....
i will not be responsible for bricked devices or dead sdcard..........
pls thank me if the rom worked and if it didnot ...then i will take a look and when answering about the bug be more specific
i will be changing the boot animations and stuff but i just want to see if it works.....

I have done porting the old way and have taken some files like framework.res from the port and put it in the base..... I have not done major changes which will affect system...... I have done replacing of lib camera and lib audio and some folders in the etc.... No changes with the meta inf folder.... mostly it should work........ I will be doing a lot of work on themes and ram for better performance(will be taking out some bloatware) .....I will be changing boot animation...... But for now I want to test it..... hi guys ! i want to edit system ui (like status bar) for our galaxy e5 but i have a problem. i'm not developer and i think my english isn't enough for tutorials. can you help me ?. i tried some system edit but i failed. nobody make rom, theme or sytem ui right now. i'm not developer i haven't got any dev information but i want to try i have free time like sunday and saturday. Please help me and our galaxy e5.

I think we can do this together if we don't do this nobody do this. Maybe can you help me ? I think we make only status bar (color changing ) do you want make this together. If you ready I'm ready too.
