if it doesn't work then please request to custom rom makers or custom kernel makers to port the rom for our devices.
Never ever try one device's rom on other
It'll hard brick for sure and you'll have to take it to service center
dnt ever try it....
it will brick ur phone...
i have asked some developers to help me make a kernel to overclock the cpu

Probably installing that ROM on yo phone will make yo phone a single Sim phone or probably mobile communication would not work anymore.. Also you'll have prob with camera..

I suppose it'll hard-brick your device. I'm not kidding, coz it's a rom of a different device.

Thanks All for your replies.
So it seems TD1.1 and TD1.5 are still on GB. I am wondering if any ICS-"LIKE" custom ROM will be ported soon to S6102!!

There is no stable ics for galaxy y
For user friendly roms go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31329931
My recommendations
1 Hyperion 7or8
2 chobit digital's rom
3 evo
4 jellyblast or creeds rom
I currently use Hyperion8 combined with jellyblast framework and lidroid resources with some minor modifications by myself and other roms
Hit thanks if I helped

im afraid its not possible. ace and galaxy y are two different phones with different drivers etc. Think of it like this-ace firmware was never meant to be used on galaxy y
You can port it
