HTTP PD PD Proxy Address in cm7 - EVO Shift 4G General

ok so i have looked but cant find it i am using cm7 but want to know if HTTP PD PD Proxy Address to 0.0.0.0 is default or do i have to flash back and do it... and why cant i save cm7 seems when i make a back up it dont keep and have to start over

The PD Proxy isn't 0.0.0.0 by default. I forget what it is, but every time you flash a new radio you'll have to switch to a sense rom like the stock RUU or MikShift to use the ##DATA# dialer code to change your settings back to 0.0.0.0. AOSP based roms like CyanogenMod can't use the dialer codes which is why you will need a Sense based ROM. I'm not sure if you'll have to do the same for WiMAX if a new WiMAX update is applied, but considering it resets to default with the 3G radio update, but I would assume you would also have to re-enter any WiMAX setting changes as well.

....also CAN SOMEONE WHO IS RUNNING A NEW CM6 BUILD POST THEIR TMOBILE APN ***ONLY IF THEY HAVE FULLY FUNCTION INTERNET AND MMS**** THANK U )
Go to APN setting for T-Mobile.
Just delete the name, password and server so it should say "not set "then save. Your internet should be working. That's how I did it.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
i modified to GSM only and my 3g/H+ stopped working, no PPP..switched back to gsm/cdma and now its working again.

[Q] MMS settings, for a Swedish network with a phone bought from usa

Hi!
I have a T-mobile HD2 with Cyanogen CM7.1 (Gingerbread 2.3.4), bought from the states and are using it in Sweden with the operator Tele2 ( perhaps a question to the swedish members?).
Everytime I get a mms I have to connect to internet and download it, I looked at my mms settings and everything is correct.
Code:
[B]Name[/B]
Tele2
[B]APN[/B]
Internet.tele2.se
[B]Proxy,port,username,password,server[/B]
Not set
[B]MMSC[/B]
http://mmsc.tele2.se
[B]MMS proxy[/B]
130.244.202.30
[B]MMS port[/B]
8080
[B]MCC[/B]
240
[B]MNC[/B]
07
[B]Authentication type[/B]
Not set
[B]APN type[/B]
default,supl,mms
[B]APN protocol[/B]
IPv4
My operator also mentions ( besides the settings ) that I should:
Connect via Tele2 MMS, that option is not available, perhaps not that important.
Also what about the settings regarding " Custom User-Agent" ?
Do I choose custom and type in HTC TouchHD2? Or NexusOne? Or?? Because the default settings were on Android phone and that did not work.
Appreciate any help
Thanks!
Sorry for bumping,
Anyone?
The mms sending/reciving works fine when the phone is booted in windows.... In android I have to be connected to the internet to see (download)/send mms, but it should be able to send without a internet connection.

I have tried that with wiping cache and factory wipe (I think that is what is was called). An item of note for anyone else thinking on this I was coming over from Cyanogen 10.2 and order to get MMS to work properly I had to turn off wifi. I have now idea why.... but it worked.
Well, I'm not ultra experienced and all, but have you tried restoring to old radio? MIUI might not be compatible with new radio.
Thanks for the suggestion. However, I was referring to Multi Media Services. Not the radio. I am sorry if I used the wrong abbreviation.

K20 plus. Unlocked no network

I have a K20 plus. I used the Device Unlock app and was granted permanent unlock the first time. I then unlocked the bootloader and rooted. I then installed PBRP and installed Lineage 15.1. Some times I have 4g most times no data. No cell service. I've installed new firmware to make my mp260 to a tp260. I now have apn settings loaded. However I can not modify them. What am I missing. How to restore service?
Are you on a Metro SIM or an original Tmobile SIM?
For me, being on Metro and on LOS 15.1, the APN settings that worked best was setting up a new APN using T-Mobile info, not MetroPCS. Even if the phone is an MP260, I believe since the LOS image is utilizing a TP260 fingerprint the Tmos APN worked much more stable than MetroPCS. I've had no issues with shoddy 4G since doing that.
You can't edit the default APN, so if you need to change any parameters you need to create a new one and copy over the details either from the default APN or one of the websites or there that provide some info for APN parameters. And be sure to select it afterward, not the default uneditable one.
One thing I did was change the IPv4 setting to both IPv4/IPv6 since i think the IPv4 only setting which comes default was giving me intermittent connection issues as Tmobile has switched over to IPv6, as far as I understand having read waaaaay too much into the matter trying to fix all APN/SIM/cell problems I encountered with custom ROMs.
