hello i just got the w8 rom for my x8 and then i installed x8gesture v007 manually and it worked great when i tried it in multitouch visualizer 2 but when i tried to use it in the web browser it didnt work!
is it just me that installed it wrong or is it something wrong in the w8 rom that dont support x8gesture?
i thought it would work because the x8 and w8 is nearly identical except for walkman in w8.

W8 is a stock ROM which doesn't support NATIVE pinch zoom and even dualtouch on maps, browser - every stock S.E. app. To achieve pinch-zoom in browser you must flash your phone with a ROM which supports native p-2-z or DT (floyo, froyobread etc.)

But i thougt it was possible to have x8gesture on the stock 2.1 x8 rom?
no it didnt, its the same. Rq>2.2+

Hi guys,
I'm using the miniCM 3.0 rom on my x8. I've been trying to install the flash player; but, I keep getting a message 'not installed'. Has anyone else managed to install it?

What the *BEEEP!*, Look at the Sony V630i(Old phone) if you flash it an custom W660 Rom it can use Flash, and it's an old phone, and the X8 can't do it??? COME ON!!!
Are you sure that W660 supports Flash? AFAIK it has only old FlashLite...
x8 only supports FlashLite
I think X8 need a big screen...

Did you flash to the latest baseband version xxx15?

I have the xx15 baseband.. its still not work.
so in stock rom, where did u find its working.
it fail on dmesg | grep X8Gesture.
fail on multitouch visual, maps, galery, browser, angry bird.

It doesn't work in stock browser but will work on opera/angry birds etc. I'm talking about stock rom. This is not real multitouch, it's fake, so you have to do it like in the video put one finger and then the second and it will work, also you should put the second finger oposed to the first and not in a straight line.

It works every where if you install it....
Stock browser just dont support pinch zoom.
(Try also to active it while you are opening the notificarions, and see what fanny thing happends.)

i tried with minicm rc2 who also comes with dualtouch enabled, but it doesnt work... maybe is a problem with my phone hardware...
anyway, i will try racht's rom

no, it's a fake dualtouch, only for zoom
I give up, tried racht's rom, jerpelea's rom and ponanovn minicm who are supposed to have preinstalled the module and... it doesn't work!! , tried also with the new version of the module by andrej456 (manual installation on my stock SE rom E15A 2.1.1.A.0.6 baseband xx15) and nothing happens...
a shame.. im thinking that is a hardware related problem, i bought my phone on march, maybe it has diferent hardware :S (i really dont know about that kind of things...)

Same tried every rom going and each and every module. Auto install, manual install, even tried a friends xrecovery backup. E15i bought in March 2011 Must be hardware....

I have a problem with gallery 3d in my 2.1 stock ROM 'cause when I open it, my X8 have a reboot or this don't load the app(black screen), I Haved gallery 3D in 2.2 or 2.3 and i don't have problems, but now in 2.1 i have these problems

First of all. Does Gallery 3d even support 2.1? I thought it was 2.2 and up? I think that's ur problem.

There is no multitouch or dualtouch yet. Download andrej version gesture x8 it works pretty well its not like pinch zoom ... in andrejs just put 2 fingers at the same time and it works ( this is just zooming in and out ) i hope i help you ... i am noob in android but i know something ;p

thanks for response, btw i was talkn bout the same pinch zoom feature bt mentioned it as dual or multi touch coz most of them do..... nd i wantd the guide to intsl dt update. i installed it using xrecovery bt nothing happened... so need help...!!! do i need to install the gesture file, if yes how..?

I think its for video...flash games not work ..try YouTube video works
Doesn't work. I tested with Dolphin, Skyfire, stock browser and with Opera mobile (not mini). It just shut down the browser.

didnt work for me. it just closes the browser. i tryed with dolphin hd and scyfire.
what rom you use, and is it oc or not.. maybe its something with that.
I could play videos on stock browser in stock froyo due to flash lite-its there in all stock roms

I think it's overclocking that is causing reason. @all those like me which haven't got flash player working. Are you using overclock ROM?
try putting in system app and see if it works or not.

Im currently on Sumee 3.0 and some sites like blizzard.com flash is working on their page, but flash games I could not run, and I'm using MIUI default browser Miriam or something like that, nevertheless this is a major breakthrough, from nothing to something
