Does anybody know of a way to either automatically dump all my SMS messages on a scheduled date like once a week or even set a max number such as 100 so that the oldest SMS gets deleted as a new one comes in...

try flexmail
You can make a rule, dump the notifcations in a sub folder and then delete the content of the floder one ina while.
Not sure if the is a differnet delete rule in flexmail, you would need play and check

I've been using the freeware app "SMS reports eraser" for this purpose for a while now. Works fine on my HD. You can find it here: http://www.jgui.net/black/smsreportseraser/index.html . Hope this helps!
I tried to send several e-mails with photo attachments. the first fo out the rest linger and never leave the outbox. in older version I could force resend but in this one I don't see such option. Anyone knows what to do?
Completely uninstall it with something like titanium backup, then reinstall it from the market... Should fix it.

Not on the s4, but ive had that problem with gmail before.
1) check the size of the attachments - could be just too large (I'm still working on that one too).
2) you even put a [Q] on it - why isn't this in Q&A? You're just making more work for Spidey...
I've had this happen on my Galaxy S I through the S4. I'd say 75%+ of the time my emails with pictures will not send. And I'm only talking one picture attached, so nothing massive.
Sometimes a reboot will get them to send. Sometimes I cancel the email in the outbox but then the email eventually sends anyway somehow. I don't know of any fixes and it's a pain when shopping and wanting to show someone a picture. I usually upload it to my Google+ and have them look there.

Happened to my s4 and note2,it takes quite a while (~10mins+) to sent
I experienced the same issue when sending emails. When I turn off WiFi I am able to send using data.

U don't need numbers... Just make a invite link, so people can join just clicking on it with smartphone and join: like this .... just click on it and join (for now u can join only with phone with if u click with pc u cannot join)
