Streak stuck at Dell logo - Streak 5 General

After flashing the new baseband required for StreaDroid 2.0 my streak became stuck at the Dell logo. I am also unable to access recovery or fastboot. The phone is recognized in QDL but I cannot get past ADB. Any tips/help/suggestion/comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Edit: Apparently there's nothing that can be done. I called Dell and they are sending me a fresh one in the mail.

Use streakflash.zip before qdl. Happened to me before.

put "http://" in to front of the above link and go ahead..cz im a new member so i cant post links like this..

I had it happen on the stock Honeycomb. I had to pin the reset button to shut it down, then hold the + volume and power button and do a Factory reset. I lost everything (but keep a back up on my SD so no problem) and it's been fine since.

Had the same issue and this worked for me :

Stuck at Galaxy S screen after Odin....

Recently i bought a GT-i9000. When I tried to boot the phone, it got stuck in a boot loop. The phone had CyanogenMod installed. I figured I'd try to use an Odin reset with this stock firmware:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1290577
The phone enters download mode fine, the file flashes in odin successfully. But upon restarting, the phone brings up the Galaxy S screen and stays there.
Nothing happens, I've left it for over 15 minutes.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks, im pretty new to the Galaxy S.
Had a Hero, Desire HD and an Atrix, but this is confusing me...
Get into recovery wipe everything(data/cache/dalvik cache) again and reboot

ammm, I normally do VolUp, Home, and then Power, I really don't know if the order is important.
If you can't get into recovery, you should be able to go into download mode with VolDown, Home, Power.
Probably you installed a rom without the required bootloaders, this can happen when upgrading from foryo to gingerbread using a custom rom without bootloaders.
Go to Samfirmware and download JVP rom, make sure the PDA file has "_sbl" on the filename, this should mean it includes the gingerbread bootloaders.
Best of lucks!

[Q] !!!Help !!! brick my phone !

After a unsuccessful update my focus stuck on samsung logo and now won´t power up ! any ideas ??? thanks all
Mine is doing the same but it shows the Samsung logo and rebooted. If you have warranty or insurance. That would be the way to go

Put the Focus in download mode (press vol up+camera+power at the same time) and flash a ROM from Focus WP7 forum here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131022
also, try replacing the sd card as it could be an issue.

Seems you need an USB jigger. Look for it on eBay or Google cheap

I am having the same issue.
My phone won't reset to factory settings at all so I tried UCJK2, Rogers ROM and everything I could but no matter what I do, it installs fine and then keeps rebooting on that white Samsung Logo.
After every rom I gave it at least 30 minutes and it kept rebooting on that Samsung logo. Anybody able to recover from that boot loop?
I use USB jigger and nothing , it seems i need a motheboard ! but the sellers on ebay don´t delivery in Brazil ! so if anybody need my parts we can talk about ! many thanks to all guys !
Had a similar situation. When i first received my focus, it seemed to work ok. First thing after initial boot, I attempted to load a 16gb sandisk micro sdhc card, using the steps outlined in the users manual. Phone froze up during installation. Afterwards, I was stuck in the samsung logo loop. I searched the forms and tried every possible remedy. (hard reset, download mode etc.) Was able to attain a bit of progress by removing the memory card and hard reseting the phone using the original 8gb of storage, but that only worked for a few hours, then went back to samsung logo loop.
I eventually sent my focus to samsung. It took them nearly a month, and 3 'pba replacements' (which i assume is the main board), but it was finally fixed. Not sure if the memory card caused all that. They were able to retrieve the phone's warranty based on the IEMI #. No other documentation required.

is my streak goosed, cant get access to fastboot

ok guys basically i cant access fastboot or recovery it just hangs at dell logo, ive tried using qdltool but this seems to have made it worse first it could acces fastboot, now it cant ,

Boot Certification Verify?

Hi guys, need some help deperately please.
I've got an LG G2 D802 that has received the OTA update to 4.4 and is running fine.
I've since rooted it and i was looking at installing a custom recovery before flashing a new Rom......
I have tried to use Flashify after downloading TWRP recovery through Flashify but after rebooting it comes up with the following in the top left of a black screen;
Error: Boot Certification Verify
810 - secure booting error
860 - cause: boot certification verify
Then the screen goes off, ive left the phone and tried to reboot by just holding down the power button for 10 seconds but on boot i just get the same message then it dissapears and i get a black screen again
Any help or pointers would be great - thanks in advance

P.S. disable Antivirus before proceeding.

If you've just flashed the KDZ, do a factory reset instead of just booting to android. (hold volume down + power until you see the lg logo, release for a moment and continue holding the 2 buttons untill the factory reset appears). If you're on the new base with knock on and the ioroot issues the reboot to recovery command it has the same effect, your data is cleared. You have to retry the rooting process (the second time it should work).

I've finally sorted it out now - on the first flash of the kdz my phone pretty much remained the same, it bought it back to life and it wasnt reset at all and i couldnt root it.
On the second flash of the kdz my phone went through the whole set up process again (enter google account, language etc) and i managed to root easily after that.
It's put me off installing a custom recovery now though Ive expereince with the htc one x, dell streak, zte blade ...... all fine but with this im worried about getting a recovery installed incase i mess up again!
I know there is TWRP recovery and Philz recovery available but using flashify was what got me into this mess - do you suggest i use the usb cable and connect to my pc and install a recovery that way?
Side note - ive downloaded TWRP and Phils recoveries but none of them have a Windows Batch File to run hence me using Flashify - ive put the question on both of those threads aswell - where is the BAT command to run?
Thanks for your help
Use autorec m8. First root, second download autorec and click flash. Done

[Q] LG G2 D802 Bricked..help me please

Hi!
I managed to get my device totally bricked.
Phone is on bootloop and I only get LG logo and then "Security Error" message. I can't enter recovery mode or download mode. Only mode I'm able to go is the "Hardware key control mode" mode, where I can see my IMEI code. I can't get windows or linux to recognize my phone. I've tried several drivers, but no luck getting my laptop recognize my phone. I have also tried couple of tutorials to solve this problem, but the main problem seems to be that I can't get my laptop to recognize my phone.
Is there anything I could do or should I just buy a new phone?
Hi Jutei,
What led to this bricking? Were you trying to install a ROM? Which ROM was it? Was it a wrong variant? Please be specific as to what you did to brick it..
Also, some people have seen success by installing this driver. Are you familiar with ADB?

Hi deathbytalkshow!
I ended up to this stage by rooting with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448887) and trying to flash with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/rom-xenonhd-d802-t3036576).
First I wiped data and cache. Then rooted and it went trough with no problems. I tried to flash with this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager. It booted to recovery and started flashing. Soon it said that flashing failed and after reboot I found myself in this bootloop.
Hope this helps someone to help me.
Try this:
1. Turn phone off.
2. Press POWER+VOL DOWN
3. When LG Logo appears, immediately release POWER+VOL and press and hold VOL UP+VOL DOWN

Hi, I tried this and got to the factory reset window. It started to do reset, but pretty soon it booted and went back to bootloop. So this didn't help. I'll try those ADB drivers today.
Hi, tried adb drivers, but no luck. My laptop still doesn't recognize my phone. USB gives power, but beside that windows doesn't seems to notice that my device is plugged. Is there anything else I could try?
so you didnt make a backup before flashing? what recovery did you flash? i bricked my phone with rom manager before and will never use it again but i had a backup and was still able to get it to eventually boot into twrp to restore.

Yeah, I was stupid enough not to backup. The recovery was the stock one. Is that where I went wrong? Should I've had custom recovery installed?

I turned usb-debugging was on before phone got bricked. I think the phone should be found somehow on computer. For example this fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48765620#post48765620) needs Linux to recognize the phone, but I can't even do that. I guess the problem here is that my phone won't enter the download mode. I'm going to try with couple of different computers when I get back home from my holidays.
I also found another fix to try. I have to drain the battery and after a little re-charge I should be able to enter the download mode. I'm trying this next.
yes thats where you made your mistake. that also makes me think download mode wont work period, but im not positive. im surprised rom manager even tried to flash anything without a recovery. thats why i dont use apps like that anymore because you wouldnt of been able to **** it up that bad on your own. so you said you tried the key combo to take you to the factory restore? if you didnt flash a recovery then i would think you could get that to work. did you look into lg's flash tool? maybe that will somehow read it. i remember seeing a post in the general forum about a way to take the phone apart and short the chip out but ive never had to actually read it so i couldnt tell you whats all involved. sorry bout your phone.

Well, I just got myself in the same boat.
The phone will show the LG Logo then the security error and shut down. When plugged in with a USB to the PC it will just reboot.
Nothing is showing in Device Manager either. I done the same in the stock recovery and I tried to Side load CM12 it failed and straight into this loop.
I got nothing now. I just done see how shorting circuits will fix the issue when it's just software. Absolute nightmare as the 12 months warranty has gone.
I tried to do a hard reset and I get the android man saying its working then it shuts down and starts the error again. I'm unable to get in the Download Mode either and I'm stuck
I don't know what to do now. The flash and Support tool will not recognize the phone.
jfletch86, I tried LG Flash Tool, but the problem is that it just says no devices found. Same problem with fix I linked, I can't do anything to my phone if my laptop doesn't find it. I'm beginnig to loose hope

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that you are in the same boat. Symptoms are the same. It seems that we have bricked our phones pretty badly. Hopefully someone comes up with fix that works. Problem is that anyone wise enough to fix this isn't stupid enough to end up this stage.
I'm hoping the same too. I just don't know why it wont allow me to do anything.
I have a nexus 4 and I've never had a problem.
I am getting nothing when plugged into my PC and its like the phone is turning on and off in the boot loop and the lg symbol.
I get the hard reset menu but the computer still doesn't recognise.
I just feel sick at the moment !!
