Water under screen

After about a week of use my sgt got water under the screen or something. Should I return it

Considering that the screen is sealed/glued to the glass its hard to substantiate your claim.

Other people have had this problem too. The screan leaked

Again, there is no kind of liquid "leaking". It requires an education in physics to understand what the issue is instead of making assumptions out of thin air. You can start by reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newton's_rings

When I turn the tablet the liquid goes to the bottom... I'm just asking if I should return it

Does it look like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1130230 ?

If the "liquid" is "Moving" it might actually be water under the screen. But the only way it could have gotten there is from water damage. A picture would greatly help us diagnose this.

I have dropped my phone at least 50 times when I first got it and today I accidentally spilled water on it and its still working , haha basically wat I'm trying to tell u is my phone is built tough and the screen is touch as well and still working like it did out the box . I just wanted to share that with u guys

I've dropped mine countless times, including off the top of my truck onto asphalt. And off the top of a bunk-bed at camp three times. I've dropped it into the pool, got it out and it was still on . But I did have to replace the entire back housing just to get a new camera lens because mine literally fell off. And I have replaced the speaker four, FOUR times because of it blowing. And I just dropped it from about 1 foot off my chair and it cracked the lens (luckily it's not in the way of the sensor). BUT, the screen has been fine the entire time. Some scratches, but I can not believe the glass has not broken
Hopefully it can make it to July when my upgrade is due. Even though I got it on April 29, 2010. Because I used my brothers upgrade, and he used mine. So now we'll be even.

These phones are really tough. I'm surprised at the abuse mine has taken. Thrown at an above ground pool, thrown at doors, thrown out of a moving car!!!! The last one was with the case on (thank God) and the only thing I've had to replace was the camera housing (knock on wood)

I had a scare last night. I use my phone as my alarm clock and I had a cup of water next to it by my bed. I went to reach for some water and knocked it over all over my DINC and I was like "**** **** **** ****"
It's all right though <3 so glad because I never want to give up this phone.

I've dropped mine probably 10x time before getting a silicone case and some chips on the outer edges of the screen are about the only damage.

I dropped mine in the toilet, fully submerged. It was on and i could see the screen under water. I dried it, it booted right up. The only thing ive noticed is the batterry doesnt last like it used to. Im amazed i didnt have to file a claim as im up for renewal soon. This thing is aesome!

What's sad is that just earlier that day (the day it chipped the screen in a few places), I was on Amazon buying a screen protector and I had put a silicone case in my cart but I removed it because I thought, "I've had this phone for 3 mos and I haven't dropped it.....why buy a case now?"

Anyone want or need spare parts?

I have some spare parts to a mt4g such as a front facing cam rear cam , the processor and board. Also the vibrate motor. It used to be my 10 yr old daughters but she cracked the screen and we got her a new one. Anyways I got curious and ripped that bad boy open and just took it for parts was originally gonna use them just in case my other daughters mt4g broke .well there just sitting collecting dust so if anyone wants these parts and find them useful send me a pm. U can have them! Pics were takin with my T-Mobile gs2

If you go to a local repair shop they ll fix it for around 50

I have a dead mt4g with a bad eemc (confirmed) that is out of warranty, due to my self repair of the digitizer twice. I've replaced the phone already.
The back cover is clean, the chrome is a little worn, and the LCD and digitizer are good. All buttons are good. The eemc died Monday after a mass cleanup on the phone and the phone won't turn on, and when on USB, asks for a QHSUSB_DLOAD.
I'm asking all in one, as I don't really want to rip the phone apart again. Email in my profile.

Is the wife's MyTouch 4G Toasted?

So last night my wife's MyTouch 4G was operating perfectly. My 3 year old knocked it off the entertainment center, and now it will not turn on. The fall wasn't even hard enough to cause any scratches or damage to the outside of the phone.
When trying to turn on the phone, I get three vibrations and a flashing orange light.
When I try to boot into hboot, I get 5 vibrations and a solid green light.
I've pulled the battery, let it set for 15 minutes, tried again, but I cannot access anything, I even let it set and charge for four hours, still no luck.
I cannot see the phone from the computer using adb, Droid Explorer, or anything else.
Is this phone completely done? If so, would I be able to sell it for parts? Thanks for any advice.

Your volume up button might be stuck but if its not your emmc chip is done and your phones done hopefully since it fell the volume up button will just be stuck and your phone won't be broken

Just disassemble the phone, all the way down to the motherboard and screen, cleaned it, ensured nothing was sticking, and it still doesn't boot. Guess it's goin' up for parts. Thanks.

Plug it into your computer and type in 'adb reboot', sorry, I skimmed through the op, let me know if that works or not

Oh, I just saw it at the bottom of the op, sorry. If adb doesn't recognize it, the chances are pretty high that it is fried. I really do hope you can fix it though. Jackr1 should know the issue

I have the otterbox commuter, it's always on. Tonight I took it off to clean it and found this. Is anyone else getting this, I was thinking maybe a random heat spike. I honestly don't recall any blunt force throuought the day. I have NO idea how this could have happened

ouch man, that super strange.

You would think a dent that severe would have some mark on the case.

The metal is pretty strong. Definitely had to be some pretty significant force to cause that.

Dude engines are made out of aluminum.. I doubt your phone got hotter than a car engine and warped.

Wow I really can't believe this. Even the video where the guy shot the HTC One with a rifle split it in half but didn't even dent.
Seriously I know metals expand in heat but up to that point? Never and I am good with physics and chemistry I know that an aluminum 1 meter width at max could only expand by 2mm if heated @100 degrees celsius but this?

I find that rally strange. I put my phone in an otterbox commuter and I dropped it a few times on concrete(I work in a wireles kiosk at Costco)
The phone itself is really hard especially the back. I don't get how that could magically appear.
