Nexus S gmail pop problem - Nexus S General

Can anyone tell me why the Nexus S email automatically sends new email to the all mail folder, doesn't even give you a chance to read new mail if you don't read it the 1st time, I've tried many changes to gmail settings

Only 4 email accounts allowed :(

Hi all
I am using my TyTN to check email over WiFi, which is very convenient. However, after setting up the first 4 POP3 accounts it doesn't seem to allow me to set up any more
It doesn't actually give an error message - it just ignores my requests! I have (soft) reset the device several times and tried again, but no change.
Has anyone else tried to set up more than 4 POP3 addresses?
Otherwise very much enjoying my TyTN
Granted I'm using a different ROM than you, but I've got 5 POP accounts in addition to the activesync, mms, and text message boxes. I just tried adding a sixth and ran into no problems.
Cheers
Not sure what to do then. I deleted one of the POP3 accounts, and it was happy to let me add a new fourth account - IMAP or POP3.
Once I was back up to 4 accounts again it ignores any further attempt to create a new account.
Any ideas anyone?

profimail would be good alternative if you dont use push email
I get the same behaviour on my Tytn.
I have SMS,MMS plus 4 POP3 accounts, and any attempt to add an account is simply ignored.
Does it have to do with updating the push mail ?

Q: using htc email client

I have setup my gmail account. I'm able to send and recieve messages. BUT, although I have it set to keep a copy of my sent message, if I use the HTC email, it doesn't save my sent message. But yet, the one I have for my aol.com account does. Is there something I'm missing?
Have exactly the same problem with my mail account (not gmail/aol). Is there a workaround?

Email app questions

Is it me, or does the email app not pick up all of the emails that are actually in my inbox? I went to check my email through the application because I had recently registered to a new forum.. I didnt see the email in my inbox on the email app on my epic, so I went on the computer and checked my email manually through yahoo. It showed the email in my inbox on the computer through yahoo, but I then refreshed the email app on my phone and the email still didnt show up. Does anyone else have this problem, is it the app? Also is it possible to have the email app recieve the email through push, instead of searching for new mail every so couple of minutes (or however long I set it to)?
Thank you!
Gmail will push. I normally get notification on my phone before my pc.

Email woes, anyone

Ok, I'm having fits with my email on my Nexus 7 (and on my Galaxy Nexus since the upgrade).
Explanation: I have multiple email accounts (who doesn't???). I don't want to use multiple email clients.
That said, the built-in Gmail client is working fine. However, when I set up my primary gmail account in the built-in Email app, it will set up fine (and fetch all the emails), but the next time it goes to fetch email, it will throw a sign-in error, and say that the user name and/or password is incorrect.
Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know of a fix?
I have three email accounts set up, make sure everything is set up correctly and always do a manual creation of the account.

Nexus 7 mail client not working when forwarding

I have the mail client on my nexus 7 (not the gmail app) set up to receive mail from my gmail account but send via my virgin account, this may or may not be relevant to what I am about to ask but is the way I have set up my other android devices.
I am finding that when I try and forward an email any attachments and extra text get sent but not the main body of the forwarded email. I have the forward quoted text checked and cannot work out why it is not being sent.
Anyone else seen this or know how to fix?
Cheers
Baz
