Froyo update

My phone has been going nuts force closing on a sprint update. Anyone else? Just started this morning. Of coarse I'm rooted and will have to wait for roms.

No I'm on a custom rom and my phone is perfect. What method did you use to go yo froyo? Did you wipe at all if you didn't use Odin?

I believe what Troy is saying is that he is getting an ota that keeps failing and he thinks it could be froyo.

Would it notify you somehow that there was a update or would you have to manually check?

At a bare minimum, if it is BS, he owes everyone beer.

Not to propogate this nonsense, but my PRL updated this morning to 60675 (was 60674 previously).
Just mentioning it.
Edit to add: apparently mine was a bit late, 60675 came out a few days ago it looks like.

Maybe try a url shortener next time.... and really? 2.3? At least make it more believable like peace in the middle east. More likely to happen before the epic gets 2.3.

Or use codes so you can at least get the less nerdy...

That's great. I just put a custom kernel on my new phone so its good but I am still flashing on my Epic almost every day. I tested 2 more themes tonight so goodies keep coming...

At this point who cares. Verycoolalan's account has been disable meaning he was banned. Since he said he will be back probably means that he has been banned for 90 days or so. We will see, but his on-line icon was lit up a short while ago, so his account is still "live"just not active or it is locked out atm.
